Pros: Privacy is completely maintained, everything we needed was provided, and it's child-friendly—an amazing place 👌🏾

Cons: It's not really something I do or care about, but the road to the property could use some filling up. 😂😂

Pros: Really nice and peaceful place Shame I was only there for a few days The hosts was very friendly and welcoming

Pros: The owner was very friendly and helpful even providing an unexpected bottle of bubbly for my husband who was celebrating his 80th birthday

Cons: There was a problem flushing the downstairs toilet and then the upstairs one decided to join in. We made the hosts aware of the problems, they were very apologetic. We managed to workarou d the problem but hope it will be fixed before the next visitors arrive.

Superb cottage in peaceful surroundings - with fishing!

Pros: Really well appointed, nice little welcome treats, very peaceful location. And you get to shower in what would otherwise be very expensive bottled mineral water - which comes straight out of the taps! Lovely fishing lake, where some decent sized carp were caught along with smaller specimens too. Gated dog friendly garden and public bridleway for walks immediately from the property. Dog bed and emergency dog bowls etc appreciated too.

Cons: Nothing, we will happily return for a further stay!

Comfortable cottage accommodation in beautiful country location.

Pros: Very spacious cottage with excellent quality fixtures and fittings. The kitchen was very well equipped to include a dishwasher and washing machine. Additional touches were biscuits and Welsh cakes in addition to a plentiful supply of tea and coffee. We loved the period pieces of furniture that complimented the comfortable sofas and beds. Amazing quiet location overlooking a lake. Julie and David are excellent hosts who gave us a warm wellcome and were nearby if we needed any help or information. Highly recommended.

Pros: The property was superbly located between Aberystwyth and New quay. Very peaceful and scenic with a lake next to it, what could be better!!

Pros: What a wonderful stay! Gorgeous cottage with everything you’d ever want. A lovely, lovely couple who were hosting. Beautiful views. I’m going back!

Pros: The property was lovely, had everything you need for a stay away. Cosy and clean, the owners were really helpful and met us on check in. Lovely area with the lake, nice and peaceful.

A relaxing and comfortable stay in a quiet location.

Pros: Clean, fully furnished in a very quiet location. It gave us time to relax and also if we wanted to the option to explore the coastal areas. The owner was welcoming and informative, yet wasn’t intrusive at all. If we wanted to visit this area we would definitely come back for a second stay.

Cons: Everything was perfect for us. I hadn’t fully anticipated the remoteness of the location, which is idyllic for the ‘away from it all’ vibe, this is something to consider if you are someone who enjoys a quick ‘pop out to the shop!’
