An exceptional property in a beautiful area.

Pros: Ynys is situated in a lovely position well away from the road. It has lovely views of the nearby hills. The property itself was wonderfully peaceful, clean, warm and full of character. Our hosts, Gwen and Richard were friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved everything about Ynys and the surrounding area. We were provided with plenty of timber for the log burner and this, along with the central heating, kept us toasty during our stay. The cottage really has everything you could possibly need for your stay.

Cons: There was nothing we did not like.

Cons: The toilet flush isn't great in the en-suite toilet sadly other then that it was all good.

Pros: A beautiful, well maintained cottage in the beautiful countryside - a credit to the owners that take pride having a property so well cared for to deliver the perfect holiday experience including the games room which my children thoroughly enjoyed (probably suitable for 10+)

Really enjoyed our time at Ynys we were sad to leave!

Pros: Excellent rural location very peaceful setting & within easy reach of Barmouth & Harlech. Some lovely unspoiled beaches even closer great for dog walking. Accommodation was comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Lovely garden area too. Easy to communicate with owners. We had an issue with the heating but it was promptly sorted same day.

Cons: Pillows and cushions were a little thin. A bowl would have been useful for small amounts of washing up. Shame only shower in en suite not in main bathroom.

Perfect location for exploring beautiful North Wales

Pros: Superb cottage in an ideal location for exploring Snowdonia. Beautiful three bed traditional Welsh stone cottage with all of the home comforts. Additional bonus of a games room located in the out buildings nearby. Lovely garden,plenty of parking and such peaceful surroundings.
