Cosy stay in December 2025

Pros: We liked everything about the Hayloft - the location, the high quality of the fixtures and fittings, the amazing welcome pack and the approachability and friendliness of the owners

Cons: Nothing - it was very accurately described.

Pros: We had a really lovely long weekend at the Hayloft, spacious, airy, tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, well equipped and welcoming. On arrival we had a very thoughtful welcome basket of treats and Glanhenwye apples, butter and milk in the fridge, also a welcoming message. Great location, easy to access Hay on Wye and surrounding areas.

Cons: Maybe better signage into the Hayloft, as arriving in the dark was difficult to see the way otherwise everything was great, no problems.

Great place to stay for few days with friends

Pros: Very spacious. Nice gardens, nice bedding, great facilities,

Cons: Nothing. Only thing to comment on is under estimated for the amount of people things like bin bags , dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls definitely not enough of any.

Exceptional in every way!

Pros: Luxurious and spacious. Thoughtful supplies on arrival. Excellent location. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay here!

Cons: The pillows on the bed were a little too firm for my liking. Everything else was perfect.

A relaxing, spacious, well-located cottage with scenic views from each window!

Pros: Hilary and Kevin were wonderful hosts, having provided all facilities to make our stay incredibly comfortable and stress-free. Stable Lad’s cottage is spacious and has a beautiful interior, which made our stay very peaceful and relaxing. It is perfectly located, with a very short drive into Hay on Wye and easily accessible from the main road. It has ample parking in the courtyard and we particularly loved the shared table tennis table outside. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay!
