The perfect place for peace and tranquility

Pros: We loved the location - it’s in a middle of nowhere, we all slept like logs. Board games choice was excellent and the magnificent log burner is the key feature of the cottage. The hosts are friendly and full of knowledge about the area. It was a perfect location for our dog - the area around the cottage was secure and safe for our dog to use.

Comfy country cottage in quiet location.

Pros: A lovely location in a quiet valley. Remote but easily accessed along a country lane, which is narrow in places. I met both the hosts who were friendly and hospitable.

Absolutely fantastic. We were very lucky with good weather which helped, but it was really great.

Pros: Location is stunning. Hosts were very friendly, even taking time out of their day to show our 2yr old daughter the recently born lambs. Property itself was very nice and cosy.

Cons: Only very minor thing is that some places we've stayed have provided more products, meaning you don't need to bring so much with you. However, we were prepared and brought items such as washing up equipment and shower products with us. Certainly isn't a gripe - most places don't provide items for every eventuality. No other issues at all.

Relaxing, peaceful and right among the elements, loved it.

Pros: It was very comfortable and easy to feel at home in. It also had thick stone walls which meant it was cool in the hot weather. It felt like a real retreat, peaceful and gave us the chance to recharge our batteries. The kitchen was well appointed with a dishwasher and washing machine plus a wide range of pans, crockery and utensils, great for two cooks.

lovely secluded cottage

Pros: We had a lovely stay here, very nice cottage which is in a secluded and quiet location. Owners were very friendly and would have been there for us if we needed them, which we didn’t. Definitely will be returning here next year.

Lovely getaway cottage

Pros: This 500 year old cottage was very well presented. It had central heating as well as a real fire. The kitchen was well equipped with fridge cooker microwave washing machine and even a dishwasher. The location is real getaway from it all so you can take on the stunning scenery. A lake about 2 miles away or in the other direction are some waterfalls. Lots to do in the area Harlech Castle shell island portmerion and snowdon.

Cons: There was nothing we didnt like well presented well equipped friendly owners who were on hand if required to answer any questions over where to go

A gem of a property - more time was needed to fully appreciate the location.

Pros: There was nothing to not like; the location was tranquil and the cottage felt like home from home .
