Deb and Andys Welsh Adventure

Pros: The chapel was very clean and well equipped, lovely shower, plenty of hot water and the log burner was gorgeous after a long day out. All you need for a lovely relaxing break away. The location was perfect for exploring the stunning Welsh countryside.

Cons: If you are a light sleeper like myself the noise from the road is a problem, a clothes airer would be useful and a bucket and shovel for the log burner. Were unable to open the downstairs windows to let some fresh air in but having said that it wouldn't stop us from staying again.

Good value cottage close to the sea (15 mins)

Pros: Quality conversation of a former chapel. The kitchen was well equipped , there were comfortable settes & TV in the living area a double room and a small single upstairs, & a WC. Whilst they were small they were designed within the limitations of the original building. Downstairs is a modern shower/bath and another WC. There is also a large grass field by the property, so we could exercise the dog, late evening and early morning, although this might not always be an option. We were just lucky that the grass was short and there were no sheep.

Cons: No bread knife to cut hard crusted loaf for toasting. The downstairs windows didn't seem to open. No bedside cabinet or table lamp in the small bedroom ( we moved one from the other bedroom.) Road quite noisy during the day so sitting out on the patio wasn't really an option. But none of these things detract from the fact that this was a good value cottage. Close to the sea and many other attractions.

Loved this brilliant chapel conversion!

Pros: We loved this brilliant chapel conversion. It was modern, clean, and uncluttered. Private off-road parking space right outside the door was ideal.

Cons: Limited space around the property, so if you want a large garden, look elsewhere.

Arnold said ( I will be back ) loved it

Pros: Spotless, for us in the right area, Loved the place A credit to Mike

Cons: Could have done with a metal bucket for log burner ash and a metal shovel But I’m being picky

Lovely chapel conversion

Pros: Really well looked after and easy to get to. Not far from lots of lovely walks, the beach and some stunning waterfalls. This is the second time we have stayed here, we will definitely go again.

Cons: Limited supply of hot water

Perfect few days away

Pros: Great place in a beautiful location. It was perfect for a short break with a family of three and our dog. We ate at a local pub one of the nights and the food was delicious. The property is a 15 minute drive to the closest supermarket. It’s surrounded by countryside and sheep in the fields which my toddler loved. The owner purchased a new toaster as we’d got there as it had broken by the previous occupants. We were very grateful for this.

Cons: Struggled to sleep as the pillows were not comfy, however this is personal preference.

Lovely break in a great location with lots of places to explore

Pros: Great location, lovely property furnished with everything you would need for a comfortable stay.

Cons: Could do with a refresh of paint in places especially around the kitchen/cooking area. Our Stay was dampened slightly as following a short power cut due to a spell in bad weather during the night, we experienced a problem with the smoke alarm on the landing which produced a loud high pitched continuous beep, we contacted the host who was quick to respond the next morning and upon returning to property later that day the dreaded ‘beep’ was gone hurrah!! sadly this was short lived and we were woken yet again at 05:30am to the sound of the dreaded beep!! Thankfully we were departing the cottage at 9am anyway but were both exhausted after 2 nights of limited sleep!
