Idyllic holiday location with interest & intrigue at every turn. Much needed & very welcome break.

Pros: Everything - the scenery, the geography, the people, the streetscene cleanliness, the air quality, the calm pace of life, the transport infrastrcture, the exploration potential...& the halo effect from a visit from when I was single-digit age. Beautiful.

Cons: Nothing springs to mind.

Pros: The location is ideal for exploring a wide variety of attractions – from beaches and hiking trails to cultural highlights. The studio offers a lovely view with the coastline within sight, and Snowdonia National Park just around the corner. Harlech Castle is practically on your doorstep. A trip to Portmeirion and Porthmadog is definitely worth it. Just a short drive away, you’ll also find a beautiful waterfall and a fascinating slate museum with stunning views over the coast.

Very comfortable stay

Pros: We had a great stay, the studio was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. We had good weather and the patio/rooftop was absolutely lush. The views and the location were amazing and close to many hiking trails and beautiful coastal towns. Shops, restaurants and cafes were also nearby.

An excellent place to stay for a couple or single. Parking available. A very peaceful stay.

Pros: Owners are very friendly and accommodating. Everything was explained thoroughly.

Cons: The door lock is a bit difficult to lock.

Pros: Very quiet, cozy and picturesque place. A magnificent terrace with a wonderful panoramic view. Convenient parking place. Friendly hosts. Thank them very much for a wonderful holiday. We will definitely come back again!

Great for couples in a quiet and lovely part of the country and we hope to return

Pros: Third time in 10 years for us at Harlech (Llanfair) although first time as a couple and first time at Maesawel Studio. We already knew the area and it is a lovely part of the country and the studio is located in a quiet cul-de-sac with good views over the bay. We were met by the unassuming but friendly and helpful owner and given a useful tour of the property and told about the facilities and so on. Bed was comfy, shower worked well although water was a little slow to drain due to the hair trap and there was sufficient hot water. TV and wi fi were fine. parking was on street although the owner did offer to move his car and let us park on the drive but this was in a quiet street so no problem on the road.

Cons: This is a studio apartment so nearly everything is in one room including the bed, sofa and shower and room is limited, but sufficient, for us anyway. No permanent table to eat at but a small foldaway one is provided along with two chairs, but really needs to be folded away when not using it. Kitchen is separate though as is the toilet with a small basin with hot water only, so any actual face etc washing needs to be done in the kitchen sink as does brushing teeth etc. Not a problem so long as you know so long as you like daily showers. The only real problem was there is no actual oven, just a two ring hob and a microwave and we spoke to the owner the day before we arrived to get this confirmed. This caused a menu swap and an issue when Tesco delivery swapped microwaveable food items for those that needed an oven! Thanks Tesco! Other than that no issues.

Good base for exploring North Wales.

Pros: Beautiful views from the rooftop terrace, lovely garden and very comfortable accommodation. Good location for exploring the area.

Pros: Your 20 minutes away from Porthmadog and Barmouth, nice little village and your a mile away from harlech where there are shops, bars, takeaways.

Een prima schone goed uitgeruste uitvalsbasis voor het ontdekken van de omgeving

Pros: Prima locatie, mooie uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes en hikes in Snowdonia. Vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw, heel behulpzaam en we konden ook van faciliteiten gebruik maken die niet bij het huisje hoorden, zoals de wasmachine en de vriezer

Cons: In principe niets....maar aangezien er een tweepits fornuis is, is een combimagnetron een aanrader ipv een standaard magnetron Verder is er geen koffiezetapparaat.
