Hoarders Cottage

Cosy and comfortable!

Pros: Hoarders is a charming little cottage perfect for the solo traveller or couple. It has every amenity including an air fryer and is in a perfect location being a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Hay. There's a lovely pub, the Black Lion, right next door and secure off street parking for one car. Three owners are very welcoming and generally on hand if you need anything. I'll definitely go back again!

A lovely comfortable cottage in beautiful Hay.

Pros: Hoarders Cottage is a lovely property within easy walking distance of the town. Wendy our host was helpful and showed us around on arrival. The cottage is very well equipped (it even had an air fryer!) with quality furniture and bedding, a washing machine and a good size oven (not to mention the hot tub!). We had a really good few days exploring the area and Hoarders Cottage was a great base.

Cons: The cottage booking are run by Sykes Cottages who bombard you with message after message after booking.

Pros: We had an idyllic stay in this beautiful cottage just a short walk from the town centre. The hosts were so welcoming and very helpful. We enjoyed the views from the garden whilst sipping a glass or two of wine. Due to it being very hot during our stay, we didn't use the hot tub or log burner but hope to use these on a return visit.

Perfect location and peaceful bolthole, but close to the centre with the added bonus of a hot tub

Pros: Excellent location - just a minute or two from the centre of Hay and perfect to be able to wander in for breakfast, or coffee etc.

Cons: A couple of extra towels would have been good

Cosy cottage ideal for a reading retreat

Pros: We loved the cosy cottage complete with log burner and hot tub as well as the peaceful location that was so convenient for getting into the town. Wendy and Stephen were such brilliant hosts and made us feel very welcome and I would definitely recommend this cottage to others looking for a relaxing weekend away.

Great place to stay near the centre of the town and close to all the local attractions

Pros: It was a wonderful place to stay after searching for books all day, the cottage was full of character and sitting by the wood burning stove was an excellent way to spend the evening.

A relaxing, cosy, comfortable stay in the heart of Hay on Wye

Pros: Lovely welcoming hosts, very attentive and friendly. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Fantastic location for town, lovely views and quiet (even next to pub).

Cons: Limited kitchen facilities for self catering.. but we were fine for the weekend.
