The Retreat

Pros: couldn’t recommend the retreat enough! stayed for 2 nights and our whole stay was just perfect, Massive thank you to Beth who made us feel so welcome the moment we walked in absolutely fantastic host and couldn’t of been more helpful. everything about this place from the views to the chalet was just unreal pictures definitely don’t it justice! will 100% be staying agin.

Perfect for a romantic getaway with a hot tub!

Pros: The Retreat is located in a wonderful and quiet location in the middle of the Welsh hills. It was very easy to locate and park our van. The host met us on site and showed us around the property which was very private. The host has decorated the property in a very thoughtful way, provided plenty of logs and coal for both log burners (one in the house and one heating the hot tub), and was available next door for questions. The property has everything you need for a romantic getaway, including a cinema room with plenty of DVDs! We certainly had a wonderful experience, highly recommend!

Cons: Nothing - everything was perfect!

Amazing retreat, highly recommended.

Pros: Incredible host! We chose to come here to escape for peace and quality time and we got it! Set out in the Welsh mountains, this a perfect location. The home was clean and comfort with lots of finishing touches. Couldn't ask for more.

Beth has thought about EVERYTHING the little touches are out of this world :)

Pros: The perfect place to unwind and relax. The views from the Retreat are incredible. We really enjoyed spending time in the jacuzzi and taking in the breathtaking countryside. There were lots of small touches in the accommodation which made our stay extra special. Beth was a fantastic host, there if we needed her but also gave us our own space. The accommodation is just a short drive from some local amenities and there are a lot of walks ypu can take straight from the property. We had perfect weather for this weekend and the sunsets from the outside space we're beautiful.

Cons: A guest guide book (unless we didnt see it) although not completely necessary as Beth was around to help.

A fabulous mini break

Pros: Set in an idyllic spot, we were able to completely relax and unwind. The cottage was very well equipped and Beth was very welcoming

Cons: Nothing, it was extremely well equipped and comfortable

The area was so peaceful. It’s definitely a place we will return to

Pros: The proprietor Beth was so lovely and welcoming. Very clean, perfect crisp sheets. There were also many added touches that were thoughtful, including a delicious Bara Brith and fresh eggs. The chalet itself was enclosed so our dog was safe watching the surrounding sheep and cattle. It was a perfect spot for a hot tub to relax in and take in the beauty of the Tanat Valley.

Cons: We loved everything about it.

Amazing location and accommodation

Pros: The remoteness, and there was everything we need in the accomodation. The little things made such a difference. We had everything we needed and Beth and Mike were so welcoming. Would highly recommend a visit.

Cons: The Saniflo wasn't a lovely smell when we were showering. It still wouldn't put us off going again.
