Perfect cottage retreat near the Brecon Beacons

Pros: It was very clean and big my children were very happy and didn’t want to go special because of the cat Rocky it was relaxing

Pros: We loved the property – it was lovely and spacious, with beautiful views. The host was very helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We also absolutely loved the cat! Highly recommend.

Peaceful and Tranquil Stay, for our short break

Pros: Perfect location in a serene and beautiful surrounding. The host (Aled) was very supportive and kind to clarify / address swiftly during our stay. A special mention to his Dad (Alan) who supported us well during our stay and extra special Welsh cakes. Location: Perfect, Calm Facilities: Pretty much everything you need Hygiene: Clean and well organised We enjoyed our recent stay and once again thank you to the hosts and having us. Happy Christmas and New Year 2026.

Book this place if you want a cosy cottage with your family , and it’s very close to places to visit

Pros: We stayed 28-11-25 for my son’s 24th birthday Well… where to begin,, just what you’d expect from a cottage. Kitchen was fully equipped from salt to chilli flakes - sandwich bags!! Washing up stuff , foil etc!! Hand wash , shower gel, .only thing needed was laundry detergent. Thank you so much. Log fire was cosy. Bedrooms were spacious clean sheets, towels etc. we helped ourselves to a box of Christmas decor to bring in the Christmas vibes. Rocky the cat was cute. The surroundings was very pretty & scenic. Although the heating/water broke down on our trip, Aled was very helpful, but I stayed optimistic & dealt with the situation. Just kept pressing the reset button to boost it.

Cons: There was nothing not to like

Apart from gaining access, stay was excellent and very good value for money!

Pros: Properly very well equipped, heating and hot water excellent. TV and internet also very good.

Cons: Some difficult contacting owner to get into property. I think code to obtain key should have been made available before we set off?!

Lovely property with excellent views of the country side.

Pros: The location was excellent -Size of the property is good and the lovely views made our stay. The large fireplace looks amazing though we never need to use it. Also the lovely local cat & horses that come to say hello every day just added to a wonderful stay.

Cons: Facilities are slightly out dated. Electric points with USB charging built-in for example would be nice. Also update to the shower facilities needed. ( Clean and Working fine just dated) Just a minor gripe because of a low noise frequently heard from the kitchen (like a toilet constantly refilling)But all in all nothing to put anyone off staying at the property..

We had a really lovely stay. The horses at the bottom of the garden was an added bonus m.Aled the host was communicative
