We loved this cozy cottage as a winter escape.

Pros: The cottage had everything we needed at a great price and at short notice as we decided to stay here instead of camping for one night. We enjoyed using the fireplace to warm up after a cold winter day and the beds were very comfy. The water was very hot and a nice pressure. The living room was cozy with the fireplace and quality TV. It was great that our dog was welcome and even water bowls provided. There were useful amenites like a washing machine and lots of nice places to sit. The wifi was great.

Cons: If I had to nit-pick....these weren't really issues but things that could catch you out if you arrive on a saturday night without going shopping for example. This is a really impressive place to stay for the price so I expect to provide these things. Tea and coffee offering was limited, a couple of tea bags/coffee/milk sachets, but glad it was there, provide your own if staying for more than a night. Had to provide own fire wood/kindling (some places provide enough for 1 night). The wood we bought locally was very wet but luckily we had dry wood from home. The hand soap in the bathroom was pretty empty and there was about 1.5 rolls of loo roll -again provide your own if staying with several people for more than a night. Dogs have to stay downstairs and off the furniture- very reasonable but this didn't seem to be written on booking.com. Some of the lamps (main bedroom and living room) the bulbs had blown.

Perfect weekend away.

Pros: Much bigger then anticipated. Very comfortable beds. Fabulous kitchen facilities. Great location, right by pub, shop and train station. A short walk down to beach. Absolutely loved the log burner.

Cons: Not much storage for clothes in main bedroom, no sky tv like advertised. That's it I think. It was practically perfect for us for a lazy weekend. Even a horrendous storm didn't take the shine off it.

Great family little stop over after a great day walking over the bridge and Barmouth ferry day out

Pros: Location, size of rooms, double bed comfy, fire great!

Cons: Was really good - very minor suggestion would be bathroom blind

Cosy, practical, right by everything you might need.

Pros: Location was brilliant, quiet place, little shop, pub and cafe/bar within a couple of minutes walk. Quaint, cosy and practical.

Cons: Nothing really, could do with a bit of TLC and a walk in shower rather than a shower over the bath. Personal preference.

Pros: Beautiful cottage, fantastic location. Great base for exploring. Well kitted out for our needs. Even the Reed diffusers were full 😉 What a beautiful part of the UK though, so much to see and do.

Cons: What's not to like?

Fantastic holiday, in an ideal location, in a beautiful cottage

Pros: The location was perfect, the beach at the end of Fairbourne was ideal for the dogs, a ten minute stroll from the cottage to the beach along side a beautiful mountain stream, we couldn’t ask for more. And having wi-fi in the cottage was great, can’t rate it highly enough.

Cons: Everything was perfect

A delightful base of operations for exploring the Cambrian coast and/or Wales

Pros: Just the location was excellent, the house was full of character in all the best aspects, was such a cosy little quiet place in Wales. The village itself full of knitting bombers and it showed. A truly charming little place in every aspect of the word. The river nearby that guides you down to the beach was truly wonderful little addition.

Cons: That our stay was so short. Only other thing I would say is if Stone Beaches aren't your thing, that would be the only drawback
