Pros: Absolutely everything. This was the best holidaying experience we have had and have already booked up again for next year. The views from the property alone make for an incredible start and finish to any day. The property was immaculate and beautifully decorated, and the surrounding areas and the parts of mid Wales we visited were stunning.

Pros: The view and the kitchen and 3 bathrooms were excellent.

Cons: The mattresses on the bed-were rock hard and so were the pillows so didn’t have good nights sleep all 3 nights.

Excellent place to stay, whole family loved being surrounded by stunning countryside.

Pros: The location is stunning, can’t hear anything but nature.

Cons: Washing machine out of order, wasn’t repaired or replaced all week. Master en-suite door was sticking open which needed attention.

Peaceful, picturesque, stunning views and scenery. 9/10 because of the lack of aircon. 10 otherwise

Pros: Very quiet and secluded, with stunning views of Lake Vyrnwy. Idyllic and beautiful. You’ll need your car to drive for a meal or shops, as the nearby Hotel and Spa was fully booked when we tried. I wouldn’t advise accessing the cottage and lake from the northwest (Bala) direction as the road is very narrow single-track, and we encountered boy-racers when I drove back one evening. The southeast route, past the hotel and spa, to Llanfyllin and beyond is fine.

Cons: Nothing to dislike. Llety Ddewi is spacious and well-appointed with 3 bathrooms, all very modern. The cottage could really do with some air conditioning, as we were there in 35° C of heat, and had to keep the windows closed due to swarms of midges (gnats), and this is my one and only “criticism”, if you want to call it that. It made for a couple of sweltering nights’ sleep.

Pros: The views were beautiful and there were big windows to wake up to the lovely view. The house was very clean and pretty. Would come back again

Relaxing, peaceful stay

Pros: Lovely location, nice and quiet. Views are lovely over Lake Vyrnwy. Kitchen was well equipped, host had kindly provided milk, tea, coffee, sugar. Rooms were spacious. There are 3 cottages in total that can all ajoin, so perfect for bigger family holidays where you can be all together but also have your own space. Very relaxed holiday would recommend and book again.

Lovey cottage with amazing views!

Pros: What a fabulous location! We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely self catering cottage. It has super views over Lake Vyrnwy. We stayed here as I was running the Lake Vyrnwy half marathon - and the location was excellent with easy access to and from the start / finish. Ideal setting for relaxation and exploring local scenery

Pros: The best view imaginable. Spacious bedrooms and lovely modern bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen.

Cons: Would have been slight easier with enclosed area for the dogs
