Cae Bitfel - Cottage

Beautiful location, very good value for money an ideal base to stay in to explore the area.

Pros: We throughly enjoyed our stay in the pod. It was spotlessly clean with everything we needed for a quiet relaxing stay. Situated in a lovely peaceful spot, short drive to the village which had plenty of amenities. Ideal place to stay as a base and explore the surrounding countryside. Lake Vrnwy is a short drive away a place I have visited many times but never get tired of. The pod has a microwave, hob and inter-grated fridge in the kitchen area. We stayed at the end of March and the pod was warm and cosy the electric radiator kept it lovely and warm in the evening and it maintained the temperature. Catherine was lovely and welcoming and we both enjoyed the homemade Welsh cakes which we thought was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend staying and we will definitely return.

Cons: There is nothing we did not like.

Pros: The pod is in a peaceful location it was spotless with everything you need for a relaxing break..the lake is 10minute drive away lovely walks with our dog 🐾🐶

Pros: The advertising for the property doesn’t do it justice. It’s such a beautiful pod with so much room. My Husband and I stayed with our large dog and there was so much space for us all. It has all that you could possibly need. The view and tranquil location is perfect for a little stroll. We will definitely stay again! Thank you!!

Brilliant location to relax

Pros: The location was excellent, not far from the lake where we had planned to go kayaking. There's a lock box so once you arrive you can get the key from there to enter the property. It has all the basics you need. Set in a very very quiet location where you can relax, enjoy the views and have a great sleep without being woken up by the noises of a busy city. It's also some distance from the owners farm so you have complete privacy.

Cons: To be clear there's no oven onsite but a microwave/grill combi so when you bring food keep this in mind, also it's no instruction manual for it. There is a fridge but no freezer. The towel rail was not working so the bathroom was freezing but I'm sure that could easily be fixed.

Pros: Very good place to rest,quiet and peaceful. There are plenty of places nearby for people who like active recreation. There is a shop nearby and you can watch the sunrise from the cottage. Importantly, very clean. A sweet gift from the owners was waiting for us on the table. Thank you and I recommend it.

Cons: The lack of a hair dryer is the only downside.

Great weekend break

Pros: Excellent location for exploring Lake Vrnwy and really peaceful and private.
