Besford Square

Pros: Clean, convenient, comfortable. Lots of amenities, nice to have an oven and a hob etc.

Cons: No wifi, no answer from the host, and the other reviews about the stairs are fair - they are *very* steep. Not suitable for anyone over 50 I'd say.

Pros: Good location. Good easy walk to centre of Shrewsbury. House Coffee by the Greyfriars Bridge was excellent.

Cons: The staircase was steep and narrow. Probably not suitable for young children and the elderly.

Pros: Great location and perfect size for a couple. Had a washing machine. And there were two excellent pubs on nearby street corners.

Cons: There should be a mention of the very tight parking and to bring a small car!

Superb little property that is ideal for one or two people, either for a romantic stay or for work.

Pros: The property is lovely, it has its own parking space and is tucked away yet at the same time very close to the city centre. Great options for food and drinks all within walking distance. A lovely little outside area to sit on a warm evening. Great open plan downstairs with the benefit of a separate room that provides a washer machine. Lovely and comfortable throughout.

Cons: For longer stays it would be lovely to have had a freezer box and a microwave, but these are nice to haves and not essentials. Access to wifi as the mobile signal was not of the best quality would be really appreciated.

Pros: It's location, friendly neighbours. Quiet, happy feel. Lovely walks to town,which was easy to get to. Own parking. Just needed the reversing ability to get in.

Cons: The property was a little tired need of tlc.The stair case took time to get used to because of its depth of tred and steepness. Very tight vehicle access and exit because of senseless parking by others. See street view to understand. Controdiction of checking in times between write up and communication.

Ideal base for going to the festival/Shrewsbury town.

Pros: The area is very peaceful and excellent to come back to after a long day at the Shrewsbury Folk Festival.

Cons: The taxi driver found it difficult to find Besford Square from the train station, even with using Satnav. He had to ask a few people the directions. The sign for Besford Square was not clear, but this unfortunately, is a Council matter. Because it is an old cottage, we would just warn people to be aware of the steep, narrow stairs and to be careful when going up and down the stairs.

Pros: Everything, fantastic cosy place with great facilities. Don't panic about parking just get ya reversing skills sharpened lol Wonderful stay will definately book again
