We truly felt honoured to stay in this amazing property - it was simply magical

Pros: This little property is an absolute gem - walking in you realise you are walking into history with modern comforts - beautifully furnished, in the heart of this historic town home to Charles Darwin and visited by Charles Dickens and so many more you can’t not have a wonderful stay - it’s so cosy with the log fire - walking distance to grocery food shopping with a wonderful town market and some fabulous independent shops to explore ! This is a gorgeous property in stunning historic market town

Cons: I really couldn’t fault the property -on street parking was available as well as a larger cheaper NCP carpark a short walk from the property which we used and it was lovely actually feeling car free for the week

Wonderful experience for anyone interested in history

Pros: A unique experience of time travel. The restoration and retention of the original structure was so authentic it was like living in the past. The location was right in the middle of the old town and easy to walk to all the best features of the town.

Wonderful stay at Wesley House!

Pros: We had a wonderful time at Wesley House. Excellent location - central for transport, shops, restaurants and pubs, yet very peaceful - and full of amazing historical features and modern luxury. It was our first visit to Shrewsbury and we loved exploring the gorgeous town and found it very easy to get to other places from the bus stop around the corner, such as Ludlow Castle and Ironbridge. The log burner and oak panelling made for a very atmospheric stay, and we loved the little bedroom hidden behind the panelling. The temperature in the house and the shower was perfect, even when it was blowing a gale outside! We also loved the pictures in the kitchen taken by the owner, Jo, who was a fabulous host - she really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Hope to stay again! 😊
