A beautiful little gem of a place, perfect for a romantic getaway or a recharge. Will definitely book again
Pros: Beautiful scenic location with views of the mountains. The cabin was well maintained and decorated tastefully. Everything we needed for a peaceful and romantic Valentines weekend. Having stayed in several other cabins here before, I knew what to expect but this was the best yet. We got the sense that the owner had taken a lot of pride in making the cabin homely and comfortable.
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like.

Overall great experience!
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay, especially the location. It was perfectly positioned with so many attractions, activities, and places to explore within a short drive, which made planning days out very easy. The surroundings felt peaceful and relaxing, offering a nice escape while still being close to amenities. Overall, the convenience of the location significantly enhanced our experience and made the stay enjoyable and memorable for our short family break.
Cons: One downside of our stay was the location being deep within a forest area, which made access challenging. Due to windy and rainy weather it became quite difficult to navigate. We struggled to find the property, especially due to dark, which caused some stress on arrival. Better mapping or clear directions shared in advance would have helped significantly and made the arrival experience far smoother and more comfortable overall.

Excellent lodge in peaceful surroundings
Pros: Nice peaceful location in the heart of the National Park. Lodge was comfortable and clean. Good value for money. Bring your own tea, coffee, sugar, and milk. Also, bring your own towels they are not included. Lodge has everything else you need. Amazing skys on a clear night!
Cons: Our original booking was cancelled, and we had to change the date. This was so frustrating after booking so far in advance. For that reason alone, I would not book again. The owner did give clear instructions about our stay. Very limited shop on site also a small cafe where you can buy alcohol.

It is excellent.
Pros: Close to supermarket. It takes 40 mins to Watkin path. The property is spacious. The check in instruction is clear and easy.
Cons: The toilet water is no good as we need to pour water into the loo to flush. It’s a bit inconvenient for us. On the last night of our stay, we saw a man touched a switch and the water returned to normal.

The location was perfect for where we wanted to visit. Really enjoyed the walks that were available.
Pros: I liked the location and that we could bring our dogs. Everything we needed too to make our stay comfortable.
Cons: The property was quite tired looking, the log cabin infront was having work done. So a builder was there when we arrived, so not much privacy. The bed mattress was too hard, but lovely pillows & the bedroom was a lovely decor.

A peaceful and well-equipped cabin in a lovely location – great for exploring Snowdonia.
Pros: The log cabin was easy to find, well equipped, and in a quiet, private location – ideal for a walking weekend in Snowdonia. It had everything we needed, including plenty of hot water, washing-up liquid, and a sponge, which was a thoughtful touch. The Wi-Fi worked well, and overall it made a great base for our trip.
Cons: The driveway and parking area were a little overgrown, so we had to be careful not to scratch the car on the bushes. It would have been helpful to know in advance that there wasn’t a hair dryer, and we couldn’t get the TV to work despite trying new batteries in the remote – some basic instructions would have been appreciated. The main bed was quite small, possibly a standard double, which we found a bit cramped, though we made it work by using separate beds.

Pros: Location was great for us, we were walking up Snowdon, the property was about 50 mins from Snowdon (in a car) We also visited Beddgelert, a beautiful little town 25 mins from the property, where we walked along the river, saw the steam train and swam in the river. We also ate in the Royal Goat Hotel, lovely food at reasonable price, they accommodated 13 of us (we had not made a reservation we just walked in off the street.
Cons: We stayed Tuesday and Wednesday, unfortunately the club house was only open Thursday to Sunday, this information did not seem to be anywhere on the info when booking. The lodges have WIFI but it's only strong enough for phone use. My husband and I were supposed to work while we were there but the WIFI was not strong enough, we could not get internet on our work laptops.

Cornish Wanderers
Pros: Early July, peaceful location, comfortable with everything in the log cabin. Spacious even if we had two kids with us. Very nice basic cabins. Bet it's bustling in the holidays, some lovely views on clear days, nearby field with Shetland ponies and goats (can not enter and do not fees them)
Cons: Only stayed for two nights, so without being too picky; a couple of cobwebs about, which seem to be present for quite some time. Old coffee jar with remnants of coffee stuck to the bottom. There was a bar and cafe that was closed on Monday night around 9, didn't look on the Tuesday night. We didn't see any staff around and reception open till 5, but we weren't around to check it out as we did day trips out. Including train up Snowdon (highly recommend) As a Man U fan, I had to giggle at the Liverpool shrine. I am also a respectable football fan and so didn't remove any of it, plus I didn't have a screwdriver, lol 😆
