Pros: Really nice little find. Lovely warm welcome. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant. Breakfast was very good. We didn't want the set breakfast, just a small assortment of the items. All sorted with a smile. Definitely recommend and hope to return at some time. Hopefully get a room at the back, with the amazing view. We had a room at the front which was on the main road. There was some traffic noise, but thoughtfully, earplugs had been provided. Nice touch 😘

Cons: The only criticism would be the windows. Due to the age of the property, and possibly, it may be a listed building, the windows did not fully close, so were very draughty. Normally this wouldn't matter but it was very cold (January) and the room became quite chilly. On the plus side there were quite a few cushions so I piled them up in front of the windows 🀣

Lovely welcoming stay

Pros: Spacious room & bathroom. Delicious evening meal and excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Staff were all really friendly & helpful.

Cons: There was noise from the bar & also the main road. If you like very quiet early nights it might be an issue but it is a pub so to be expected. Also complementary earplugs were provided so no complaints.

Very good

Pros: Lovely omelettes for breakfast and a very tasty evening meal staff were very confident and pleasant

Cons: I can’t find fault with the accommodation or staff, but the weather could’ve been a little better!!!!!

Friendly, Great Food, Beautiful Scenery

Pros: Nice inn. Spacious, clean room with nice sitting area with a beautiful view of the valley and hills. Very comfortable bed. Friendly staff and a great meal.

Cons: I was in room 1, which is at the head of the stairs from the entrance to the pub so this made it rather noisy. Request a different room if you’re sensitive to noise.

An enjoyable weekend in the Dee Valley

Pros: Food - both breakfast and dinner- was excellent. A good location for exploring that part of Wales. Friendly staff.

Cons: The bar and lounge (not particularly big rooms) were dominated by locals so we didn’t have a drink there.

Really well-run, with very nice rooms and decent pub grub.

Pros: Very friendly, helpful and cheerful staff. Rooms at the back had excellent views and were very spacious and clean. Good range of breakfast choices, and the omelettes were particularly good.

Cons: Being out of season, the menu wasn't as extensive as we'd have liked, but good solid pub food, and a very nice pint of bitter.
