Great for us

Pros: The location was spot on for our needs. The breakfast was better than what we expected and the staff where great and helpful.

Cons: Nothing it's an old building so you have to except it's faults.

Adequate and quirky

Pros: Bedroom itself was large, clean and well equipped. Regretfully there was no bar service of food on the night of arrival ( bank holiday Sunday) which was surprising. Quirky ambience. Breakfast was a casual ( some cooked items available as a buffet in containers) affair and adequate.

Cons: Afraid the windows of my bedroom at the front could do with a thorough clean....not only road dirt but masses of cobwebs so not been done for some considerable time.

Nice accommodation in a former pub

Pros: We were greeted by a very pleasant lady who helped us with our luggage to the room. The room was nicely decorated with good quality furniture. It was comfortable,clean and spacious with a nice ensuite. Breakfast was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay here 😀

Cons: It's a shame that the traditional bar area is only used to serve breakfast and as a storage space. So many pubs lost. Hope this business survives as a B&B because they are trying hard.

Pros: Clean quirky very good breakfast cooked to my liking. Easy parking.

Cons: Poor lighting in my room and bathroom. But then I was in the attic. Otherwise no complaints.

Pros: Very Welcoming and Friendly Staff, and the food was good. Loved the Old Fashioned Feel of the Hotel. very atmospheric.
