OYO Glyn Valley Hotel

Absolutely lovely stay, nice little place to stay 1 or 2 nights

Pros: Breakfast was continental style which included toast , croissants and cereals with a selection of jams. marmite and honey. As well as tea there was orange and apple juice and a coffee machine so overall there was plenty of choice. The shower was powerful although the cubicle is quite small. Double bed was comfortable. The radiator warms the room up quickly plus there is a plug in heater if needed.

Cons: Only thing I would change would be a different blind up the window. The roll down blind made the room dark which needed to be down as people walking past would see right into the room. Vertical or Venetian blinds would be much better which could be slanted for privacy but still allow light in the room.

Pros: The staff were very helpful. We got stranded in the snow. We were greeted with hot drinks and a lovely welcome from Hayley at 3 am.

Cons: Snow!!!

Host was amazing, couldn’t do enough to please!

Pros: Clean and spacious, nice tea making facilities what I wasn’t expecting.

Great for what I needed. Safe for a female travelling alone and a very clean room.

Pros: Breakfast was a bit disappointing as out of season for a cooked breakfast but staff phoned before arrival to let me know.

Cons: My room was just above the pub so noisy with music but it stopped before it got late. I would definitely stay again if I needed a room in the area.

Pros: Nice cosy room and reasonably spacious. Pleasant bar area. Quiet. Car park.

Cons: Reception on arrival could have been a a little warmer.

Pros: Everything was great. Location is beautiful, rooms were clean, beds were really comfy and the staff were lovely and friendly. Food was delicious and well priced. Decent selection of drinks. 5 stars 🌟 from us and 5 🐾 from our Corgi, Freddie. He was well satisfied with all the biscuits and attention he got. 😁

Cons: We didn’t find anything we didn’t like.

Great last minute stay, perfect location and for a very good price. We will be back!!!!!

Pros: It was spacious, clean, good size bed, plenty of towels provided, good TV with choice of channels and apps. Nice and cosy, with dresser and hairdryer provided. The shower was glorious! We enjoyed a continental breakfast which was delicious! We loved the fact it was a separate room away from the pub. We felt very lucky to have this spot at such last minute.

Cons: The only thing we could think of was that we felt it would have benefitted from a coat hook just as you go inside the room, apart from that we were very happy!

Great place good value for money

Pros: Great place to stay, room was clean, well presented with a very comfy bed. They've made a good job of updating the hotel and prices are good.

Pros: Very pretty location nestled in the Valley. Stayed in one of the annex rooms which was well equipped, with plenty of room and everything we needed to hand. Staff were all lovely and very helpful. Simple pleasant breakfast with more than enough to eat and included in a very reasonable price.

Cons: No complaints at all.

Amazing stay, would reccomend for anyone.

Pros: Beautiful property, lots of character on the outside and so beautifully modern and well presented on the inside. We were looking for somewhere quiet for New Years Eve to bring our dog as he is terrified of fireworks and the staff were so considerate and understanding of this. Would definitely like to come back and stay for longer to explore more of the area.
