The Old Fire Station

Beautiful comfortable clean and central.

Pros: Beautiful property in central location of the village. Plenty of space and clean. Nice and warm cosy. Good WiFi was super useful. Off street parking a big tick.

Cons: Nothing to dislike about this property. May be a bit bigger bed. But it was comfortable

Pros: We only booked one night so it was slightly unusual for us as we would normally have booked a B and B. This was a really well-equipped self-catering apartment. Everything was spotlessly clean. It was such an advantage to be able to park outside. View from the full-length window in the upstairs lounge over the town and surrounding hills under the settling sun was remarkable. For those who plan to stay a day or two the circular walk from the parking area east of Strata Florida abbey up to the Teify Pools and back down on the Teify Trail, about 6.5 miles, was one of my best ever day walks. Bit wet underfoot if there's been rain.

Cons: Nothing I didn't like. TV streaming options for bad weather would've been a welcome addition and milk in the welcome pack for a brew after a long journey but the wine was a lovely touch

Exceptional property in a lovely village location.

Pros: Quality property, offering exceptional facilities. Outdoor garden with a beautiful view, a cozy seating area and a fire pit. We really enjoyed our stay and are considering rebooking next year.

Cons: An EV charge point would be useful.

Very pleasant and comfortable place to stay.

Pros: Very comfortable and clean. Owners made us feel extremely welcome with a personal welcome message and generous welcome pack. Really lovely to spend time in their garden in front of a log fire.

Cons: The only negative was it was located by quite a noisy road, but that’s a small concession to stay in such a lovely comfortable property.

Pros: The town it was in was very friendly and pleasant surroundings, the owners made us feel special with welcoming communication and nothing was to much trouble for them thank you, will come back in the winter deffo to hot to enjoy log burner and fir pit and hut

Pros: Great location, stylish and little bit quirky with a lovely garden with a great view, also spotlessly clean. Great communication from the owners and off street parking was a bonus. Very good Chinese takeaway just a short walk away.
