Pros: Very comfortable, clean, cosy cottage which is ideally situated in lovely village.

Cons: Kitchen cooking equipment lacking. Off road parking awkward.

Lovely cottage it a lovely location 😊

Pros: Great location for all amenities, lovely pub with an open fireplace within 2 mins walk, fabulous walks everywhere and friendly people. The cottage was lovely with lots of character, the main bed is only a double, but that was fine for us. We will be back!

Wonderful cottage hide away in the centre of Tregaron

Pros: We found the Old Smithy really comfy, welcoming and warm when we arrived. It was easy to find and parking was right outside the door (helpful in the rain). The beds were very comfortable. Living room was lovely with a wood burner that we used all day and a good smart TV. Kitchen was well equipped and spacious. Hosts were very responsive to my teething questions.

Cons: Nothing to complain about, it was a shame the range cooker didn't work, but there was a back up electric oven and hob so we were able to cook easily enough.

Cosy cottage in cute village location

Pros: Lovely cottage, nice and spacious and cozy with the log burner, lively location in the village with good access to a couple of takeaways and mains roads.

Cons: Definitely needs a bigger bed in the main bedroom, and some more attention to detail with cleaning cobwebs, but that’s nit picking! Overall wonderful for the price, had everything for a cozy short stay!

Great place for a short break

Pros: Quiet, cosy, warm, well equipped, good value. Tregaron is a nice spot with some decent cafe and eating out options.

Cons: Standard double bed in large bedroom that could easily accommodate a king or super king

Lovely large, traditional cottage

Pros: Lovely, traditional cottage with loads of space, thay had everything we needed and was so calming and relaxing.

Traditional Cottage in the heart of the Village.

Pros: Traditional old stone cottage in the heart of the village. Parking was ok, better to reverse in/ drive out, due to bend in the road, and slight incline. Cottage had 1x Double and 3x Single beds, and linin was clean and fresh. Downstairs bathroom had a really good shower/ bath. The living room area was spacious and welcoming. Kitchen area was larger than expected, roomy table seating 6, and traditional Aga type cooker as well as more modern cooker and other white appliances. The back garden is laid with slate, but is a bit of a sun trap, so able to relax outside with a glass of wine. There are plenty of local shops, but not all are open on certain days. There are also a couple of pubs in the area.

Fabulous weekend

Pros: The property was really big inside but also cosy. There was everything you could need and more left by the owners.

Cons: My only issue was the bedrooms needed a chest of drawers for clothes.

Pros: Lovely location and cottage! Had everything you needed at the property and very comfortable and relaxed feel. Shops only a very short walk away. Perfect for a chilled night away. Could have stayed indoors the entire stay if we wanted to it was so nice! Lovely big kitchen that was a pleasure to cook and dine in and living room had a beautiful log fire. Hassle free booking and property owner was only a message away if needed. Good info pack inside and left alone to relax. Check out requirements were not demanding like some other stays where they expect you to empty all bins, clean etc. regardless of cleaning fee which is a massive bonus as it allows you to actually enjoy the morning before your leave. Thank you! Very good value for money and hope to return soon!
