excellent location, pet friendly, easy check in/out, train station 2 min walk, warm! Wi-Fi ! :-)
Pros: Very easy to check in and check out. We have travelled on the 1st of January and have been expecting it to be cold, however we were pleasantly surprised on our arrival, holiday home was warm for us (not your usual small electric heaters, but full size central heating radiators), it was very clean and had everything we possibly needed for our stay (we did know that we needed to bring our own bed linen and towels, which wasn't a problem at all). It was surprisingly busy, considering the time of the year. The Site Shop and bar with entertainment were open and very convenient, short walk from the beech and walks. Barmouth is very close and very cute town, there is a lot to see within short driving distances and if you don't want to drive there is a train station 2 min walk. Dogs are welcome, parking next to the caravan, wheelchair access (not as we needed it, but haven't seen many caravans with one). Absolutely loved our stay and want to come back.
Cons: - We were hoping that the pool would be opened (as stated that open all year round), but then expected the closer due to the holiday season. We had plenty to do anyway. - the boiler is a little noisy, but can't help this and we were rather that, than being cold. - maybe an extension socket for the bedside table, but again, didn't affect our stay and we managed with what we had just fine.

Pros: A quiet and clean place. A good base for excursions. Warm and dry even in windy and rainy weather. Infortunately, we didn't use the sauna or pool, so I can't comment on that. We were mostly off-site and used it as a place to relax after sightseeing.
Cons: Some furniture finishes could use some repair. The water in the sink drains very slowly The curtains and drapes are a pain to move. The entrance door needs to be adjusted or replaced. It's nice that the place is pet-friendly, but the smell of dog treats doesn't necessarily improve the overall look. These aren't things that impact comfort, but they're worth addressing.

Lovely stay but the van is in need of an upgrade.
Pros: It was in a great location, Parc Caerelwan is a wonderful caravan park close to the beach . Great WiFi connectivity.
Cons: I think the van needs a little TLC , the freezer was very noisy and was even more so at night. The oven didn’t work too good and the main bedroom night lights didn’t work either .The net curtains were a little torn and some of the ties were not fitted to the wall. Was an expensive stay considering the vans shortcomings.

Lovely caravan , but car broke down and we had to leave early, would book again.
Pros: Lovely caravan , very well equipped in nice position and very comfy and clean , would stay here again dog friendly a big plus for us it enabled us to take our Cockapoo Teddy with us , easy access ramp which for me was a great help because i am nearly 80 and am none too good at using steps . Excellent for elderly people .
