Very pleasant stay in this clean and very welcoming family house

Pros: Very pleasant stay in this family house. The breakfast is absolutely fabulous, with a lot of choices, very generous. The room is crystal clean. And the hosts are really welcoming and helpful, from the first warm messages before arriving to the end of our stay. It is more a homestay than an hotel/inn. Rob is a passionate traveler, he likes to meet other travelers, it was pleasant to discuss with him about our trip cycling Wales.

Very enjoyable stay and hosts couldn't have been more welcoming.

Pros: Good location close to the river Wye. Accessible for Hay and Brecon. Delicious breakfast, lots of options and very friendly and helpful hosts. Would recommend and hope to be back when next in the area. Nice pub within walking distance too.

Pros: The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. Was lovely to sit and chat over coffee when I arrived and every day once I got back to the property. They adjusted breakfast times to suit my day and were very friendly.

Gracious hosts and brilliant breakfasts!

Pros: A welcoming house which was great for our stay. We used it as a base as we attended the How The Light Gets In festival in Hay. Rob and Sarah were gracious hosts, and Rob’s delicious cooked breakfasts were exactly the fuel needed for a day of festivalling.

Rob and Sarah were great hosts and made me feel welcome.

Pros: The breakfast was spot on. I was offered a cooked breakfast but preferred a lighter one (cereals and toast) which was provided.

Pros: Exceptionally, we stayed at the house while the hosts were away on holiday, so we made our own breakfast (no problem!). They were very trusting, and we had full use of the house. As accommodation is so hard to find in Hay Festival weeks, we were just glad of a comfortable place to stay that was less than 15 min from the festival site. It was in a very pretty country village on the Wye, and very quiet. Excellent Wi-Fi, useful as we had a bit of work to do. We'd gladly come again, with or without hosts present!

Pros: Sehr nette Gastgeber / tolle ruhige Lage / für praktische Dinge, wie die bessere Möglichkeiten all sein Gepäck unterzubringen, ist noch Luft nach oben ;-)
