Lion Royal Hotel

Pros: Staff were excellent. Hotel bar was great and the rooms were perfect. Also had a very good secure carpark for our vehicles overnight. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Pros: Very comfortable and cosy, spotlessly clean, staff were excellent , super friendly , and made it feel like a home from home. Jane was super attentive and extremely down to earth , she went more than that extra mile to make sure I enjoyed my stay and she was exactly the same with other customers too . I had an outstanding experience staying at the Lion Royal Hotel, just wish all hotels offered you the same service, sadly it’s not the case and Jane and her stafff are one offs, can’t rate it highly enough.

Smashing grade 2 listed building with comfortable beds.

Pros: It was lovely. A little busy as they were hosting a large funeral, but the host was wonderful and couldn't do enough for us.the bed was super comfortable and couldn't hear any noise coming from the Bar.. breakfast was exceptional well cooked , lovely and hot.

Cons: The furniture on the bedroom was a little old fashioned and could do with updating . Although it's in keeping with the building as it's a grade 2 listed Building I think the bedrooms could benefit with a modern look (had to plug the kettle in on the floor to boil it...

Excellent stay with amazing towels and great breakfast.

Pros: Room was very clean , towels were so soft , big and amazing. Best towels I have ever had in any hotlel . Room had character. Breakfast was very good , arrived hot, with excellent egg. Would stay there again.

Pros: Good location. Very safe parking for bikes. Staff were welcoming.

Cons: We had a faulty shower, but luckier the bath was spot on.

Lovely hotel in Rhayader

Pros: I had a spacious comfortable room and it was very quiet through the night so I had great nights sleep. My hosts, Jane and Alice, were lovely and very helpful and accommodating - I couldn't have been looked after better!

Cons: I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Excellent location with clean rooms and lovely staff.

Pros: Excellent location, staff very friendly. Big comfortable bed and quiet location.

Cons: Although safe parking the entrance is very narrow off a busy road.

Pros: Location very convenient. The Welsh/ English breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. The King size bed was extremely comfortable and the furniture was not the modern type but we loved it , the room and bathroom spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly.

Cons: The only item we missed in the bedroom was a Television, but there was one in the lounge
