I visited alone and stayed for 2 nights, coming away feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
Pros: I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect setting for this cabin. The location is stunningly beautiful and peaceful, with truly breathtaking views. There are wonderful walks and trails right on the doorstep, and Lisa, the owner, thoughtfully provided maps and information for exploring the area. It’s also just a short distance from Dinas Mawddwy, which has a delightful café (Caffi’r Hen Siop) and a great coffee hut (Tiny Home Coffee).

A beautiful, private, peaceful slice of heaven!
Pros: We absolutely loved our stay at Ty Nant Gwenyn! Such a beautiful part of Eryri - we walked over 11 miles and only bumped into one other walker. The cabin is so private and peaceful, we loved waking up to those amazing views every morning and seeing the mountain waterfall in the distance. Photos can’t do those justice. The setting was so lovely that we decided to ditch our plans to go for day trips further afield and explored the local area instead - I’m so glad we did. Both the Cwm Cywarch and swim walk in Emma Marshall’s Wild Swimming book were stunning. The waterfall dip is freezing, but the view is one of my favourite in the world. This is a really special place which we’ve already recommended to lots of other people and would love to return to one day. Thank you so much Lisa for sharing your beautiful space!

Pros: Beautiful secluded location. Cabin was really nice, well kept, clean and modern. Host only contacted when necessary (i.e. what to do when we arrive etc....), handbook was useful with WiFi and local things to do, and host was even amazing when we had a power cut (high winds took down a power line) and brought over a kettle and tea lights. Dog friendly was perfect! Our dogs loved their stay and enjoyed watching the sheep. Hot tub was also fab to relax in after a long drive.
Cons: Fence was fine for our dogs but it could be a little low if you have dogs who like to test a boundary, sheep were a field away though so depends on prey drive. Also, not something that can be helped by the host but when going during autumn the tree is dropping acorns all over the garden which could be problematic if you have a dog who eats bad things.

Beautiful Cabin, secluded and very picturesque.
Pros: We have just left the Cabin after spending the most peaceful two nights there. The cabin itself is fabulous. The scenery is out of this word and to top it off we were surrounded by sheep and cows. The little touches in the Cabin were much appreciated and local treats left by the owners… yum! Wonderful stay- we will be back.
