Lakeside Eco Pod

The Eco pod DOESNT have a kitchen, but hosts are amazing.

Pros: The hosts were amazing. When we realised that the eco pod didn't include a kitchen, (booking dot com had. Changed the description of the accommodation) , the hosts went over and above and moved us to a different facility which did have a kitchen. The setting of the pod is stunning, but we would recommend hiking books to get there.

Cons: Booking dot Com had changed the description of the eco pod to say that a fully equipped kitchen existed when there is no kitchen at all at the eco pod. We booked the eco lodge because we believed it had a kitchen.

Pros: I loved everything, we got stuck in the mud and the hosts came out to help us, we were offered extra blankets and a heater. As there is no light pollution, the stars were amazing. The bed was comfortable, and the pod was very clean. This place would be perfect to bring your telescope and watch the stars. We will definitely return.

Pros: David and Julie are delightful. They answered all questions I had via email before my stay, and I was greeted by David and Julie upon my arrival. David helped me with my bags up to the pod, which was really great. It was very cold (which I knew it would be when I booked the getaway) but Julie did me hot water bottles, they provided extra blankets and David set up the logs for me to sit by which was lovely. It was very peaceful and quiet, and it was nice to have a night away from everything! I will definitely stay again, thank you!

Cons: A little heater of sorts would be amazing in the cold weather.

Pros: The pod is exactly what it says on the tin. Beautiful surroundings. We went in December and the owners put out extra quilts. Owners are amazing and couldn’t do more for us - they are so lovely.

Pros: It was amazing, so beautiful and amazing value for money. The owners were lovely and made sure our fire was lit and even took a trip into town to collect our takeaway and brought it back up to us🥹🩵

Cons: Absolutely nothing. Only small thing is would be lovely to have heating in the pot but it was beautiful

Pros: The lovely location and the host were so nice, they looked after us.. David made us feel welcome and Julie made a great flask of tea. We enjoyed it so much we stayed another night.

Cons: There was nothing not to like.

Night in nature

Pros: Lovely , even got a cup of coffee in the morning . Thank you

I would rather stay 2 nights In the pod then a week in the sun

Pros: I loved everything about it 😃😃 the owners are lovely And the location is perfect I stayed for two nights with my dog we did plenty of exploring , and relaxing There is a town centre close by that you can get anything you need from There is usb charging ports in the pod and the Toilet was clean I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK 😁 thank you for a lovely stay and thank you for helping me with the fire

Lovely remote spot and peaceful

Pros: Everything. So peaceful and the hosts are just great.

Cons: Nothing it was just stunning and great location.
