Beautiful surroundings, cosy and warm accommodation, lovely hosts!

Pros: The hosts were lovely and the location was beautiful, accommodation was really tidy and clean and also so lovely to have the complimentary tea, eggs, bread and milk - just a really lovely touch that made it just extra special!

A gorgeous place to return to after a day walking in the hills.

Pros: Excellent location; felt very rural yet a 10 minute walk into town for great pubs and restaurants.

Cons: Reading all the reviews, it seems like we were just incredibly unlucky with our downstairs neighbours.

Lovely winter weekend away

Lovely short stay!

Pros: Clean, very good location to Hay-on-Wye, co-op is not too far down the road. Loved seeing all the chickens and birds! Lovely host, and having milk in the fridge was a really nice touch!

Cons: My own fault for not checking properly, but i thought the upstairs apartment where we were staying had a fire - but it didn't, even though the fire picture was included in the upstairs apartment listing. It was still really beautiful, but the fire was one of the reasons we booked.

Great place to stay

Pros: A great location and very quiet, just a short walk to town. Hosts were very friendly and accommodation good. Very comfy bed! Parking was a real plus for Hay. Farm had happy goats!

A very comfortable place to stay just outside Hay surrounded by natural beauty and animals.

Pros: Really beautiful barn conversion done to a very high standard. Lovely goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese, dahlias and trees on the farm.

Superb, really relaxing weekend away

Pros: Excellent host and nice, quiet location. On a working farm but that didn't cause any issues. Really relaxing. Micro brewery with taproom 5 minute walk down the road and very short walk into Hay. The only downside was how much my wife ended up spending in Hay!

Hay-on-Wye

Pros: Brilliant location and excellent accommodation. Very clean and well equipped.

Cons: The access road is very narrow i was worried about scratching the paint on the car.

Pros: The location is fantastic and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The accommodation itself was spacious, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Nice quiet location within walking distance of Hay. Every need catered for. Comfortable & clean.

Pros: My wife and I enjoyed a lazy, relaxing, peaceful stay at Glanwye. We were not able to go out to explore the beautiful surroundings due to my wife suffering a knee injury just day before. However, we were very comfortable in the apartment and only had to go out for food. Fortunately, there’s a supermarket just down the road. On arrival we found a litre of organic milk in the fridge and a pack of croissant in the bread bin - which was a nice touch. The kitchen was well-stocked with tea, coffee, sugar etc., as well as herbal tea which my wife particularly enjoyed. The free Wi-Fi was very welcome and worked perfectly for social media, kindle etc. We loved watching the farm animals from the terrace outside, as well as the local wildlife including many birds such as pheasants, robins and kites. We plan to visit again in the future for another relaxing break and - finger-crossed - explore the area properly.
