The Old Fire Station Ludlow

Very happy with our stay at the old fire station. Would definitely recommend.

Pros: Very spacious, including two lounges which were perfect for our family group with older kids. Tastefully decorated throughout. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. We were given a welcome basket which was a really nice touch. Great location to explore Ludlow. Very helpful host.

Cons: Would have liked updated showers but apart from that it was a really nice apartment . Lovely bathroom.

A lovely spacious and quaintly quirky house in a perfect position to explore a great little town.

Pros: A wonderful location near to the centre of Ludlow. The town was an eclectic mix of fascinating buildings and superb range of eateries. The house itself was like a tarsus, very quirky and relaxing with a lovely welcome box and all mod cons. We did a nice walk from the information pack, went round the castle,and visited the market. Very helpful host sorting out a parking issue.

Cons: One of our couples had a leaking bath.

Fabulous location, everything you needed for a short stay, highly recommend property.

Pros: Property was fantastic, very roomy, as we were 8 adults, could not have wished for any better.

A perfectly situated attractive apartment ideally located for exploring the town.

Pros: The apartment is very central to the town and all its amenities. Ludlow is a pretty and interesting town with great places to eat and drink. House is full of character and has a quirky charm. Modern appliances. Parking permit for road outside the house and also able to unload luggage easily. Large open plan living space.

Cons: The configuration of bedrooms is such that access to one bedroom is through another. Apartment needed a bit of attention to cleaning in particular the high ceilings and windows which had many cobwebs. We stayed during a particularly hot time so more effective fans or cooling system would have made our stay more comfortable . Spiral staircase to main bedroom was a bit of a challenge especially if you had mobility issues.

Fabulous very stylish place

Pros: Great location, really spacious and comfortable. Our daughter loved the piano. On street parking was always available in the evening directly outside the door (but I imagine sometimes that wouldn’t be the case when town is busier).

Cons: It was hot weather during our stay so we kept the windows open at night and as blinds are attached to window a lot of light came into the room early in the morning (Fans were provided)
