Pros: We stayed here in order to support a friend who was playing a gig at a lovely local restaurant (Old wives tales) a short walk nearby. The hotel was on the main street but we had an excellent undisturbed night's sleep in a lovely immaculate room on the first floor. Staff were very welcoming both at breakfast and at reception. Entry at the front door at late hours was by the same card as for our room. Breakfast was by order from a comprehensive menu and was quickly served up in a room that had the feel of a lovely old Library with hundreds of vintage books to browse. Would happily stay again.

Cons: Very little to say against our room but I found the temperature difficult to set on the shower thermostat. My wife had no problem but she is of course the Brains in this marriage!

Pros: Great hotel with lovely staff who made our stay memorable. Also fantastic food in the restaurant!

Pros: Very quiet probably as out of season. A peaceful and comfortable rest, tasty breakfast, great service

Cons: No proper decaf coffee (filter) or decaf tea! Staff did find instant coffee for me

Pros: We felt that we were well looked after. The staff are very attentive and nothing seems to be too much trouble. We had a lovely stay.

Pros: Perfect for our mini break. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble. Staff are exceptional! Friendly and welcoming. Superior room was lovely, large comfortable bed and very spacious. Booked for our evening meal which was delicious and beautifully presented. Breakfast was fabulous too. Would definitely stay again, very relaxed and chilled atmosphere. Thank you!

Cons: Nothing not to like

A relaxed, dog-friendly stay with friendly staff and easy access to Lake Tegid.

Pros: The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is dog-friendly, which was a big plus for us, and the location is excellent — within easy walking distance of Lake Tegid. Check-in and check-out were quick and straightforward. The restaurant was another highlight, especially the availability of a proper gluten-free menu, which was much appreciated.

Pros: Lovely place staff were so helpful. I made a mistake with my booking and called them. They bent over backwards to accommodate us.

Cons: Not much really. There's not a great deal of parking but nothing they can do about that.
