Lovely little Community Owned and run hotel in the heart of North Wales.

Pros: We have stayed at this hotel before. The location is great for day tripping to explore Nth Wales. We love the fact that it is a Community Owned and run historic hotel.

Great location, friendly staff, value for money!

Pros: Every staff member / person I came across during my stay were so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they weren’t serving food but pointed me in the right direction of where I could go, room was perfect for what I needed it for, shower was hot and sheets were clean! Thank you for the hospitality!

Cons: N/A

Good 3 night spent

Pros: The staff was friendly and accommodating. The whole place had a really nice atmosphere.

Cons: The room did not quite looke like it did on the pictures of the booking website. You also could hear everything that is going on on the corridors, and sometimes in the neighbouring rooms.

Pros: Sensational hotel run by the commune of Ffestiniog in terms of price and what you get for your money. Really nice and accomodating staff, comfortable bed, hot shower, adjoining pub in the house but no noise, absolutely quiet, complimentary good breakfast for a small extra charge. There is nothing not to like about this place. For people who don't need 5-star hotels but still value to get worth for their money. We loved our stay here!

A great place to stay. For example, I am a poor sleeper but had two restful nights!

Pros: This an unpretentious place with strong community ties--the staff and customers were friendly and welcoming: I couldn't ask for any more. I will use it again and recommend to others.

Lovely place for real fans of Yr Eryri / Snowdonia who want to get off the tourist trail

Pros: Relaxed, friendly staff; amazing rural village location, genuine Welsh first-language speaking; incredible views of the mountains (if the mist isn't down!)

Cons: Maybe better wi-fi? But coming to place like this, digital connectivity isn't really what it's about :-)

Pros: The staff were very helpful. Room was clean, large and quiet for resting. Food at the pub was good also. Very nice for a stopover in Wales. I would recommend.

Cons: Nothing to add
