Welcoming, clean and a fantastic breakfast

Pros: Mike and sue are excellent hosts, the property was clean and every detail had been taken care of to ensure a great stay, comfortable beds, warm rooms, everything you could need and the breakfast was fantastic. Mike and sue were also very knowledgable of the area, friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble

Pros: Sue and Mike have a great thing going. It feels like you are private guests with them. The room was immaculate and cozy. not to mention the breakfast!! 10/10. Also very well located to snowdonia and the mountains which is why we went. We will be back!!

A wonderful stay at Yr Hen Farcdy!

Pros: We were made to feel very welcome at Mike and Sue's B&B in the beautiful Welsh countryside. We had everything we needed during our stay and found the B&B to be very comfortable and clean. Mike's breakfasts are legendary and certainly set us up for the day! Sue & Mike are both really lovely people with lots of interesting things to talk about and some really good recommendations for places to visit and go to eat. Their dog Rusty is wonderful too & so friendly! It is a cosy 'home away from home' B&B and we are so glad we chose here for our short break in Wales 💕

Excellent stay - highly recommend .

Pros: Location is really good - easy to drive everywhere - Portmerion , Porthmadog for trains , Harlech Breakfast excellent , variety good and cooked well with fun and happiness by the hosts The hosts Sue & Mike are great , so friendly and helpful , nothing was too much trouble - highly recommend a stay with them . You have a private area outside bedroom with 2 seats , a little fridge, tea and coffee making facitlites, own well stocked bathroom. Everything you would need . The best best part is meeting and chatting with Mike and Sue and their dog King Rusty . Great place .

Fantastic hosts and very comfortable

Pros: Mike and Sue were incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything about our stay was superb including the recommendation for an evening meal. Like a home from home! Breakfast is excellent and what I’d call “a proper home cooked brekky”

Home from Home feeling

Pros: The hosts Mike and Sue both made me feel very welcome immediately. They gave me some great tips for walks, motorcycle routes and taxi firms to use. They even let me jump in the car with them for a lift into town! I'm a motorcyclist and this place is so well hidden that my bike felt totally secure. Mike is a biker too; so we had plenty to talk about. The room and bathroom were both really good. The TV and firestick were also handy. There was actual fresh milk in a mini-fridge for the coffee, also cold water (needed that as it was very hot that day). Breakfast was made to order and was very tasty. Had a great time here, would book here again if I return to this area of Wales.

Cons: There was nothing I didn't like about this place - it was great.

A gem of a place

Pros: The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. The accommodation was very comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional. Very good location

Pros: Mike and Sue made us incredibly welcome. It is situated in a lovely quiet place close to many attractions. Breakfast was superb. Mike and Sue were lovely and informative on the local area. We will definitely be going back.

Pros: Everything. It's absolutely amazing. I find it hard to put into 'review' words just how much we loved our stay with Sue and Mike. Very special people and Rusty. Lovely, extremely memorable stay
