We would highly recommend staying here . We were made to feel very welcome.

Comfortable room, modern bathroom and excellent ,served breakfast.

Pros: The arrangement for ordering breakfast the night before worked very well. There was a good choice on the menu, the quality of the food was excellent and it was served to the table with a smile. Excellent quality bathroom soap products too.

Friendly hosts, excellent facilities, super breakfasts, and a great position for exploring Brecon.

Pros: The breakfast was outstanding. It was top quality and plentiful. The poached eggs were perfect and the fresh fruit bowl was excellent. The rooms are spacious and quirky. This is an old building, very sympathetically restored and to a very high standard. It is close to the centre of Brecon and all the local facilities. There is no dedicated parking though there is a bay directly opposite for unloading suitcases etc. There is ample road parking and lots of local car parks close by. The owners, Myfanwy and Nigel, were helpful, friendly and great hosts generally. My friends and I will definitely go back. I can highly recommend Mount Street House.

Lovely hotel in an ideal location

Pros: Nigel and Myfanwe were lovely, as was the lady that did breakfast for us, which was very good. Clearly this was the best choice for a stay in Brecon!
