Fabulous in all ways

Pros: The owners were super friendly and helpful. Very well appointed bedrooms with some lovely touches. The bed was very comfortable and luxurious and the bath was a treat. Great facilities- I especially appreciated the drying room and guest fridge. The conservatory was v comfortable as a chill out space with lovely views over the camel and mountains. Breakfast was great- lots of choice well cooked and plentiful- set me up well for a hard days hiking. They were very helpful with tips for the best walks and knowledgeable about most of the main trails. The location is very quiet and peaceful but close to some lovely pubs and the town of Brecon. I can recommend the Gurkha corner Nepalese restaurant in Brecon for authentic Nepalese food.

Cons: The big spiders in the roof room :( quite a lot in the beams in webs

Fabulous part of the world and nice to come back to a nice B&B after walking all day.

Pros: Lovely location, excellent house, great breakfast and friendly owners, great place to stay best the canal and easy access to some lovely walks.

Cons: Only small thing was not enough hot water for showers on Saturday evening. OK in the morning though.

Pros: It was an amazing 3 nights at Ty Newydd, we actually planned on 2 nights, booked another night because we enjoyed it so much. Located beautifully with stunning views on the hills surrounding it. Excellent breakfast cooked by the very friendly owners of the place. It was amazing and would absolutely recommend this place to everyone planning a trip to this area.

Cons: Can’t think of anything at all… it’s just perfect!

Quiet, relaxing, comfortable and in great country location.

Cons: We were on second floor and have physical limitations so for future stays would go for 1st floor.

Pros: Lovely property, very quite, stunning area, beautiful views. The B&B was tastefully decorated, had everything we needed, even a drying room for our drenched clothes. Very comfy bed and bedding, tasty breakfast. Lots of stairs yes, but worth it for a lovely attic room. Would definitely recommend to friends and family

Pros: We had a great stay at Ty Newydd. The place is charming, comfortable and very quiet. The surroundings are so pretty, with a view on the mountains and a little canal passing by, which allows for nice walks. It's also close to beautiful hikes in the Brecon Beacons. Sid was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend to anyone considering a holiday in the area.
