Very comfortable stay at great location

Pros: Easy access to all that we wanted to explore in and near Llangollen. Delicious breakfasts (veggie) with good choices. Very comfortable bed and spacious bedroom

A really worthwhile stay

Pros: Anita and Paul were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was tasty and the ambiance of the old Victorian house was charming. The room was lovely and warm with a great shower. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed a quiet night's sleep even though it was close to the road. Definitely recommend

Pros: Views amazing. Very clean and lovely big room. Very comfortable and a lovely breakfast. Great welcome and informative. We enjoyed our one night stay.

Cons: Only downside was lack of parking. But appreciate that to get the views it would be on a hillside.

Pros: Unsure of where to park, I called and Anita answered the call. Reassuring us we were in the right parking spot, we unloaded the car and crossed over the road to be greeted at the door by a very cheerful Paul. He immediately took a couple of our bags (because we were on the top floor) and showed us to our beautiful en-suite room. The shower room was huge with a large walk in shower, and dressing table (as well as very nice sink and the obligatory loo). The views over Llangollen were as described (spectacular). Paul was able to offer excellent advice on where to get an evening meal in the town based on preferences' and also what we could do the following day. Breakfast was chosen the night before, and when we arrived in the dining room there was a warm croissant as a \

Cons: To be honest there wasn't anything to not like. Being very very picky it would have been nice to have had a shower head that you could adjust the water jets on (ie like a power shower) and to be able to adjust the height (probably could but I couldn't work out how and it was set for a 7 foot giant not a little 5'7 woman). Also the TV was just too smart for us and we couldn't work out how to just watch BBC1 or ITV so we settled on a channel that was showing programmes which we both enjoyed watching.

Remember the view.

Pros: Very beautiful view as the name suggests. Took a short walk up to the castle where you can see from room window. Would love to stay here for longer time. If you can, book more than one night. There are only two rooms so decide earlier. Also the host and breakfast are wonderful.

A lovely two night stay in a perfect little town. Warm and friendly accommodation.

Pros: Perfect location. Lovely warm comfy room with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely. Overall a great place to stay just a short walk from town.
