Wild Valley Bunkhouse

Pros: We spent a fantastic 5 nights in the bunkhouse. It's cosy, comfortable, practical and really well equipped. The hosts were really helpful. Excellent hiking - lots of options within about 30 mins. A real getaway. Recommended.

Gorgeous place, very peaceful

Pros: Gorgeous little bunkhouse with everything you need. I stayed with my 3 Daughters & we had a lovely time, the board games were a nice touch. We star gazed, stayed up late by the fire making Smores and enjoyed the views. Visited the waterfall near by and hiked. Lovely wholesome weekend!

Pros: The absolute peace and quiet. The setting was lovely. The bunkhouse had everything we needed. It also provided wood for the outside fire. We didn't get to use as we had a short visit but thought was a great idea.

Cons: Maybe give a little warning of the narrow track up to the site and to look out for on coming cars, but that's all we could say.

Outstanding stay

Pros: Very clean. A serene location and friendly, accommodating hosts. Loved the sounds of the little stream and being able to do the BBQ with real wood. The stars were clearly visible- not so much in London where we currently reside. We were soothed by the baaing of the sheep and hooting of the tawny owl. We spent 2 weeks in the bunkhouse and they just flew by. 😊

Cons: The only thing missing for a longer-term stay was a washing machine, but there's a launderette in the nearby very picturesque little village. Nothing else comes to mind.

Calm, quiet and super comfy.

Pros: Beautifully situated and exceptionally clean - this was such a great place to hide away with the family for a few days on our way further into wales. Loads of serenely quiet scenery nearby, and this little bunkhouse was perfect for the family.

Cons: Would have been great to have better blinds on the windows - but waking at dawn offered a great view. We made the mistake of leaving the door open in the evening when on the bbq - and got a bit hit with flies - don’t do that! :)

Peaceful stunning views amazing bunkhouse throughout perfect

Pros: First time visiting Wales and what a stunning beautiful place it is the bunkhouse was very clean throughout it was very well equipped the beds was comfortable the fresh bread and butter was amazing the views from our doorstep was absolutely beautiful we loved every minute of our stay they even had board games for the kids which was perfect the hosts was very friendly and so lovely we will definitely be booking again thank you so much for a wonderful time

Pros: The location was superb, lots on the doorstep but also close to other spots for exploring the wider area. The bunkhouse was cosy and had all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay.

Pros: We had an amazing stay at Wild Valley Bunkhouse! The accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect—peaceful, rural, and surrounded by beautiful nature. It's a hiker’s heaven too, with some incredible trails and natural beauty spots just a short distance away. It's also super dog-friendly, with a secure fenced area for dogs to run around and even toys provided. The hosts, Heather and Graeme, are truly wonderful. We were welcomed with freshly baked (still warm!) bread on arrival, and another loaf to take home when we left. They really go above and beyond to make you feel at home. One of those places you instantly want to rebook!
