Lovely quaint caravan with great views

Pros: Lovely basic quaint caravan for a couple or a solo traveler and his/ her dog well equipped with tv dvd no signal for normal channels books and board games to play, lovely comfy bed great views of the valley close to Newtown town centre with plenty of shops. There’s a bumpy dirt track to get to the caravan but passable with care and a high vehicle host is very welcoming and friendly and helpful

My little caravan castle

Pros: The caravan was beautifully set out and amazingly comfortable. The little table outside was perfect for a quiet drink and relax reading a book after a busy day. I played some music while having a cider and it was amazing. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in and the view was to die for. Owner was very friendly and helpful and I will be staying again next time im here.

Cons: Having the shower in the owners house was a little awkward as I dont like to intrude (didnt take up their offer). I think if they set up an outdoor shower it would have been perfect. I am a regular camper so a small heated camp shower (with a privacy screen) would have made it 100%. Track in was a little muddy and tight so a bigger vehicle will likely get pin stripped. Worth the drive in though.

A perfect stay!

Pros: The caravan was so quaint and cosy! Very basic but everything you need. On arrival, the radio was playing music on low and fairy lights adorned the walls πŸ’– The pics don't do the stunning views justice. A little gem of a find. The host, Matt was extremely helpful and personable and I can't wait for an excuse to return!

Very peaceful break with my dog

Pros: Loved my stay in the caravan with my border collie. It had the most wonderful views out across the valley and was very quiet, peaceful and private (except for the odd sheep!). Matt was a great host who made sure I had everything I needed, brought additional water down and let me use the shower in the farmhouse. He also made sure that I was prepared for the drive up to the property (I was in an SUV and I was fine) and he made sure there were additional food and water bowls for my dog. The caravan had some really nice touches - fairy lights, a few DVDs, a radio, a proper mattress and some board games (though my dog wasn't up to playing any games with me). There are some brilliant walks on the doorstep, including down to the nature reserve next to the old Montgomery Canal and the River Severn. I had a really comfortable and peaceful stay for a few nights and I can't wait to come back.

Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like about this place!
