Hafan Y Traeth Beach Front Apartment in Barmouth

Excellent place, perfect beachside getaway.

Pros: The apartment is in a perfect location, right on the seafront with great views of the sea and a short walk to town, the estuary bridge etc. The living room is very light and airy, with a large bay window and a very comfy lounge chair giving an amazing views. The sofa is also very comfy and gives a view of the beach and sea. The kitchen is well equipped and backs onto the living room.

Cons: Despite these next few things, we would stay again. The mattress to the main double bed could be more comfier, the second bedroom would be better if it had another double bed, rather than bunk beds. The bath and shower set up needs replacing, it leaks heavily when used. The internet signal is sporadic, but the weather can affect that. Netflix etc is not set up on the TV, I think this would be a handy addition for those days when the weather is bad and just want to chill.

Pros: The view is fab there is a lovely chair to watch the world go by. Great location for train station, shops and centre

Cons: Bathroom needs tlc. Kitchen basic but ok for us. Smaller bedroom uncomfortable sleep. We think there is room for two single beds which would have suited our needs better.

Comfiest chair with the best view

Pros: The world’s most comfy chair and the view was so amazing to while away the hours watching the sea, sky & mountains. Location perfect for beach and town.

Cons: Great property, height made the view brilliant, just be aware of lots of stairs.

Best location to enjoy Barmouth

Pros: Location fantastic, nice spacious living room, very clean and well stocked with books & games. Bedrooms are far from the living room so no one will be kept awake by the TV. Amazing view from the rotating window seat. Free parking!

Cons: Getting luggage up the stairs and not being guaranteed a free parking space nearby. You will be able to get a space (there is plenty along the road), just not always directly outside. Minor issues and not much the hosts can do about that.

Wonderful relaxing stay.

Pros: Perfect location. Wonderful views. Beautifully furnished. Reading material supplied.

Cons: The was equipment was basic but fine. A teapot and cafetière would have been a bonus.
