Perfect house in a great location!

Pros: The property was very comfortable, nicely decorated/furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. Communication with the host was excellent - with helpful advice provided in advance of our stay and a useful handbook with further info in the house. Didn't use the shed for bike storage this time - but will do next time!

Cons: Nothing! There is no parking directly outside the house - but we were aware of this and it was only a short walk to a nearby car park. We managed to briefly stop near the house to unload the car before finding a parking place.

Fantastic base for walks from the door

Pros: Very central location but very quiet. Dolgellau was still decorated for Christmas and looked amazing.. especially with the snow! The house was well equipped and comfortable, and the milk and farm eggs provided were much appreciated, as was the offer of extra time there to make it easier to cope with the snow.

Cons: Parking was a little awkward but fine when we'd got our bearings. The stairs are steep and narrow, so something to be aware of if anyone is not so steady on their feet.

Pros: The accommodation was lovely - great location and facilities . The courtesy welcome basket was really thoughtful, especially after a long trip. Menna was really helpful and friendly. Thank you very much. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Pros: It's a very comfortable cottage with bedrooms upstairs, away from kitchen sounds. We had a very warm welcome with fresh eggs and beans. Dolgellau is a beautiful town with narrow streets, old pubs and a large rugby field, mountains and woods all around and only a 45 min drive to Harlech beach.

Beautiful cottage in an excellent location

Pros: Beautiful little cottage in an excellent location. Lots of walking from the doorstep and all you need from the town close by. We would definitely recommend and return.

Lovely stay.

Pros: Cute, comfortable, warm and spotless. Surprisingly spacious for a small property. Yards from the centre. Great communication from owners. We would definitely stay again.

Cons: The only minor thing is parking but there is a very reasonable 24 HR car park maybe 100 yards away. Oh and the other half moaned there wasn't a full length mirror. That's about it

Pros: Fantastic location, less than a minute walk into the main area of Dolgellau which is a beautiful location. Communication with the host was easy and everything was clean and tidy on arrival. With heavy snow forecast over the weekend we didn't quite reach the summit of Cadair Idris, we got as far as we deemed safe! So we will be back and some point to reach the summit.

Excellent stay. Look to rebook cottage if returning to the area.

Pros: Food and drinks available on arrival was really appreciated . Only a Short walk to town centre to find a mix of pubs, restaurants and shops. Found a free parking space in opposite direction. Location good for walking in the National Park. Cottage fully equipped for a longer stay. Fully recommend booking and in area again will be looking to rebook. Over phone host welcoming and clear instruction for arrival , key pick up etc.

Cons: For us Nothing to report, but lack of parking may be a problem for some guests as might the lighthouse type staircase.

Cosy cottage

Pros: Such a lovely cosy cottage. Perfect location. All the amenities we needed.

Cons: No parking but only a 5 min walk to a local paying car park so not so bad.
