Love Lane Cottage Dolgellau

Lovely cottage in a great location for Dolgellau and exploring the surrounding area.

Pros: Lovely little property that had everything we needed for a short weekend with the family and dogs. A few nice treats left at the property for us all to enjoy. Well placed in Dolgellau for exploring the town and our walking weekend.

Cons: Parking on the road near the property (found by yourself) not on site as suggested. They do leave advice on parking inside the property but by then you will need to have sorted out parking.

Pros: Cosy and a good area, provided everything we needed and really cost efficient.

Pros: Fantastic to walk to the village, where you could find cafes, places to eat, cosy pubs We did find a lot of shops closed, not sure if it’s the time of year. It was great to have the walking guide book which we took advantage of. The shower was wonderful, lovely clean fresh towels and bedding. Gorgeous welcome hamper ❤️

Cons: You couldn’t not like it, it was very cute and cosy. If I could change anything I would personally face the settee to the beautiful fireplace and have the tv above and put the dining table beneath the window.

Pros: Very typical cottage, compact but enough room for a couple or family of 4. It felt cosy, especially at this time of year. Great location, 2 min walk to shops, cafes & pubs. Very pretty little town. Owner friendly and wished us a pleasant stay, they left some treats in a hamper which was kind.

Cons: Liked everything, the property was very clean but there was a used pizza try in the oven which had been missed when cleaned prior to our arrival.

Great stay, lovely little house with lots of surrounding walks which was the reason we booked. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay

Pros: Absolutely beautiful, compact ,cosy cottage in the heart of Dolgellau. There was a welcome basket on arrival that was so lovely. I would happily stay again if there were a few little tweaks.

Cons: I won't say that I disliked anything as the owners obviously want your stay to be lovely but a couple of tweaks would make it easier. A second bedside table and lamp is definitely needed. After a day of walking, a book in bed is lovely but only one sidectable even though there is ample room for another. Hooks in the bathroom to hang up your towel/dressing gown if definitely required PARKING !!! There is no parking at the property. DO NOT attempt to drive up Love Lane. Park across the road on the pavement to unload then carry on driving for about 200 yards and there is a big layby on the left. This information would have been so useful if it was popped into the info email before we arrived.

Pros: Good location, well-equipped cottage, comfortable bed, fresh towels, Netflix, delicious coffee and a welcome basket with goodies.Patio. Clean.

Cons: Missing 1 bedside table and a coffee table. There is nowhere to put a cup of coffee while watching TV.

Fantastic break in a lovely cottage

Pros: The cottage was so cozy and welcoming with side lights left on for our arrival. The welcome hamper and welcome note were a lovely touch. Everything was spotless and the arrival information from the host timely and accurate. So well situated for the surrounding area and plenty of information available in the cottage for ideas for places to visit. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay with the most comfortable bed . We're definitely planning another trip back here . The owner Sandy was lovely and recommended a few local places to visit and eat.

Cons: Not that it was an issue for us but lack of parking near the cottage could be a problem for some. We had to unpack the car and take the car into the village to park at the hotel as there's nothing anywhere near the cottage so this could put some off.

Had a lovely time and felt so at home in the cottage 😊

Cost little getaway for the weekend.

Pros: Very cute and cosy and perfectly situated in the village of Dolgellau. The property was clean and well stocked with essentials. The welcome hamper was a welcomed surprise. Host was super welcoming and helpful.

Cons: The beds weren’t so comfortable for us and it was hot upstairs, so we didn’t get much quality sleep.
