Review of The Barn 🚜

Pros: From the outset, the accommodation was very welcoming and impeccably clean, set amidst beautiful farmland and open fields. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful — just the way I like it. As an avid cook, I really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, which had everything I needed. The cottage also featured a generously sized bedroom and a spacious shower. Despite the unseasonably cool weather, the provided heater kept the cottage warm and cozy, making the stay even more comfortable.

Cons: The internet was a bit slow at times, but that's to be expected in such a peaceful and remote setting.

A quiet countryside oasis

Pros: The Barn is in a beautiful rural position tucked away at the end of some extremely narrow lanes with outstanding views of the countryside and across to Oswestry and beyond. Zoe met us on arrival, was very welcoming and showed us to The Barn which was delightful. It was warm, very clean, comfortable and quiet and we really enjoyed our stay there.

Cons: The area is very rural with many single track lanes. It was quite an adventure to drive along them but we enjoyed it! Crossing the cattle grid and a field of sheep was interesting in our low sports car but most cars would have no problem.

Pros: Beautiful location, with friendly hosts who greeted us on arrival and let us know they were there if we needed them, but also left us to enjoy our stay. The cottage is well equipped, very clean, close to local attractions and Oswestry town but also away from everything, and very peaceful.

Highly recommend!

Pros: Zoe made us so welcome . The Barn was so lovely, we felt so relaxed . Beautiful lake , cannot fault and would definitely return and recommend.
