Great place to stay for the Eisteddfod

Pros: Very friendly and helpful host, easy walking distance to the Eisteddfod site and into town, excellent views of the canal and the hills from the room.

Pros: The perfect location and views. The hosts are wonderful. The best accomodation of its type we've ever stayed in. Nothing was too much trouble,just perfect !

Host was very attentive and enthusiastic and added to the enjoyment of our stay.

Wonderful retreat.

Pros: Probably one the best places we have stayed. The host was just lovely, treated us like friends from the moment we arrived. The room was amazing, immaculate, with views to die for. Perfect little added touches. Will 100% return to this gem of a place.

Pros: It's taken me a little while to write this review because I wasn't sure that I wanted to share the Gamelin with anyone else but that wouldn't be fair to the wonderful hosts Mayuri and John. They have truly thought of everything and created accommodation that feels both luxurious and very comfortable and cosy. The location is perfect, just a five minute walk into town, and the views from both rooms are breathtaking. It's a gem of a find, so if you're travelling to Llangollen, don't hesitate, book it before someone else does, you won't be disappointed.

Cons: Nothing that we didn't like but I would mention that although it's a short walk to town, it's uphill on the way back, so it might be a little challenging for someone who struggles to walk far. Having said that, we're all in our mid 60s to early 70s, fit and able, and had no problems.

Best place to stay in Llangollen

Pros: Beautiful location. Amazing views. Town centre a short walk away. Amazing friendly host. The room is beautiful with all amenities you could want or need. Exceptionally clean.

Best place we've ever stayed!

Pros: We absolutely loved everything. Weve stayed in many places but this is the best place we have ever stayed. Views from the room were spectacular. The room was cosy, clean, comfortable and so quiet. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was amazing. The location was perfect for walking into town and visiting many beautiful places. But best of all the host was amazing. Mayuri was very welcoming, kind and nothing was too much trouble. We can not wait to stay again.
