Hive Townhouse

Pros: Amazing room and central location. We didn't want to leave!

An excellent place to stay for a romantic weekend for two.

Pros: The room was beautifully decorated in a modern and comfortable style. The owners provided us with complimentary drinks and nibbles which were all very welcome. Our view from the two windows were lovely and our breakfasts were not only plentiful but also an excellent choice of breakfasts to suit all tastes.

Cons: The toilet was rather high up! Although the bathroom was beautifully designed.

Pros: Breakfast of Kings Great selection, excellent coffee, local high quality produce Complementary mini bar and snacks was a great touch and a free ice cream too

Pros: The decor, comfort and attention to detail is second to none! Gorgeous place in the perfect location with the bar/ restaurant right across the road and parking either outside or just 1 min down the road

Mini honeymoon, didn't disappoint.

Pros: A quick browse on Booking came up with the Hive. Just what my wife and I needed, almost a mini honeymoon. No expense spared in fixtures and fittings- copper bath was lush! Free complimentary mini bar too. We had the harbour view too. Staff wonderful and breakfast was amazing. (We opted for an evening meal and that didn't disappoint either). Can't wait to stay here again.

Pros: Absolutely fabulous stay for our honeymoon! We had a wonderful welcome and staff were lovely throughout. The accommodation was perfect, and the location stunning. The associated restaurant was cosy and we had mutliple lovely meals there. We couldn't have asked for more, highly recommend and can't wait to go back

Lovely room in a beautiful location.

Pros: Great location and beautiful room. The staff were excellent and the breakfasts delicious. The complimentary minibar was certainly a bonus!

Perfect location for Aberaeron and surrounding areas.

Pros: Keeping in mind that Aberaeron is a small seaside town, the Hive was luxurious. The room was furnished to a very high standard and was spotlessly clean. Complimentary drinks, snacks and toiletries were to a very high standard. The included breakfast was sumptuous and the free ice-cream was a nice touch. The location was perfect - despite the foot traffic, there was very little noise. There was plenty of free parking - I parked right outside of the building.

Cons: The bed was too soft and too small for my liking, but that’s an individual thing. The bedside (hanging) lampshades were too big for such a small room - again, individual taste, but it would probably annoy most people if their head kept knocking the lampshade. If you’re 6ft3 like me, you also need to watch out for the door frame at the front entrance to the building - it hurts! To be clear, those are very small ‘dislikes’, hence the 9 out of 10!

Most excellent place to stay x considerate tiny touches

Pros: Superb place! Well thought out accommodation set up. Mini fridge, complementary drinks/snacks/milk in your room. Tokens for a free icecream. Great toiletries. Food/breakfast is served across the road in the restaurant. Really tasty too! Was worried about parking but we managed to park directly outside possibly easier with it being winter. Highly recommend staying here.
