Great weekend at the Falcondale

Pros: Nice spacious room with good amenities. Lots of lovely little details such as the customers names on the door, home made shortbread on the tea trays, etc. Food was very good (I am a trained chef), portions were ample (I am a big man). Choices were limited and the menu does not change daily. This could have been a problem since my wife is vegetarian and I am pescetarian but the kitchen and front of house went out of their way to accommodate us and to provide tasty alternatives. All the staff we met were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We had a great weekend, we will be back and will encourage our friends to join us. Lol

Cons: Potholes on the approaches / drives to the hotel, but probably out of the owners control.

Wonderful stay

Pros: Lovely setting, and wonderful first impressions driving up to the hotel. Staff were professional and friendly although it did seem at times only one person was covering the reception and bar, so wait times to be served were longer than would have been expected, but, no big problem as here to relax anyway! Room was wonderful, clean, comfortable with great views and usual tea/coffee, and some nice home made biscuits waiting for us. Dinner was very good as was breakfast. Would certainly return.

Luxury traditional hotel in Lampeter

Pros: Beautiful setting, lovely dining room , lounge and bar , excellent service, food and drinks

Cons: Rooms were dated , no pressure in shower and four poster bed made with low metal poles , rooms need updating.

Pros: Staff were lovely very attentive, food was excellent surroundings were beautiful. Our room was a large double, a little tired but we were satisfied for one night. The bed was comfortable and pillows wonderful.

Peace and quiet

Pros: The location hidden in a valley was something else. Although only a mile from town, you felt that you were far away from civilisation. Everyone was so friendly. Can’t wait to come back.
