Cross Hands Hotel

Pros: The owners were excellent and great hosts. Being dog friendly is really good and no issues at all bringing our dog with us. Breakfast was good with good choices. Location was good for what we needed and sufficient parking at rear of hotel. Bedroom and ensuite were good.

Cons: Mattress on bed was a little uncomfortable for us, but probably because we are so use to our own. We had an evening meal from menu. The surf and turf was good and steak cooked how I requested, the lasagne was a little overcooked.

Home comforts - worth perservering to find it.

Pros: Lovely staff, the lady who owns it was very welcoming. The rooms were good, and the food was all home-cooked and they had a decent menu, a bonus considering we were the only ones in the hotel.

Cons: Very hard to find the first time. The lights were turned off, so in the dark it was almost impossible to find. Nothing else. Now I know where it is, it will be much easier in the cold, dark winter nights.

Pros: Lovely little gem of a place, gorgeous home made food. Friendly staff and a nice homely feel.

Pros: This was our second time staying at the Cross Hands Hotel and as always they are friendly and accommodating The food is exceptional and the choices for breakfast was varied and plentiful

Very nice place to stay.

Pros: It’s very clean. Location is great. You can see night sky with full of stars.

Cons: Bed makes noise while move one side to other side. And we found big spider in one of our room may be because of hot weather

Pros: Central position. Interesting old building. Really good breakfast.

Great little hotel with friendly staff and good service

Pros: Great service and welcoming and friendly, nice rooms and really comfy bed, food was cooked to order and was spot on. Would definitely stay again for future visits to the area.
