The Swan Hotel

Excellent place to stay. Great staff, great food, great location.

Pros: Our second stay. Staff are always so friendly and professional. Every one of them that we have encountered have been so nice! Chatted to Ben yesterday and he is so helpful and made us feel at home. Can’t remember the lady’s name who served us at breakfast but she was also very lovely. Couldn’t do enough for us! Room comfortable and clean. Great location. Kington is a very quaint and attractive town.

Stayed for VSCC trials, there was St one on street parking for car and trailer, food was good, staff were pleasant

Pros: when Offa laid out the dyke he must have had a break at Kington about where the Swan Hotel is located as it seems to be a naturally nice place to stay, you are made welcome, you can sit anywhere you like and eat and drink thanks to a splendid bar and varied menu with plenty of local choices, if Ruth and Alice look after you you will be spoilt and not wish to leave

Pros: This is an ideal location offering great value for money for anyone walking Offa's Dyke Path. The staff could not have been more helpful offering my friend and I a pint of beer after a long days walk before even checking in. Then put our walking boots somewhere warm to dry out then presenting them back to us the following morning at breakfast. The rooms were quite spacious with a good strong shower. The food in the restuarant was wholesome and filling at a good price. A hearty breakfast finished off a great stay. I would easily recommend it.
