The Harp Inn

Pros: We had a wonderful time at The Harp. The room was lovely, warm and cosy and the four poster bed super comfy. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the Valentine dinner excellent. We will certainly go back.

Pros: The room was cosy, clean and comfortable. Lovely dinner and breakfast. Superb location with mountain views.

Fantastic old hotel.

Pros: So much character, great food, lovely atmosphere. Don’t miss a quick visit to the old church next door.

Cons: The toilet and heated towel rail were quite close together and a bit awkward.

Warm, welcoming, friendly

Pros: All the staff were really friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the pub was welcoming, warm, happy. Everywhere was very clean, the decor was simple and lovely. The food was excellent.

A perfect birthday treat!

Pros: What a beautiful Inn. We received a very warm welcome from Martin and Mel and we're able to check our bags in early. After an energetic walk up Hergest Ridge, we returned to find all thr pretty christmas tree lights on and the fire roaring, it all looked so inviting. Our room (number 1) was perfect, very comfy bed and stunning views of the valley. We enjoyed a wonderful meal by the fire in the evening and breakfast in the morning was spot on. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the summer.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like! Martin and Mel are the perfect hosts for owning and running this lovely old Inn. I just wish we lived down the lane...!!

Cons: Rooms need a little freshen up but I suppose that goes with the age of the place.

Cons: The breakfast is very slow, slightly haphazard...ok if you're in no hurry.

Pros: Great pub and a firm favourite of ours. We came here to walk the hills which didn't disappoint. Food great, beer wonderful, room was lovely with great view out the front and the staff are impeccable.
