River View Glamping

Pros: Fantastic location. Lovely quiet area next to a stream. Main town with shops and restaurants 10-15mins away. The tent was really cost and comfortable Hosts were great - always on hand with friendly help.

Enjoyed every second of staying at River view glam...

Pros: We had such a wonderful stay! The river was beautiful, and our cozy family tent felt just perfect. The kitchen and sitting room were great, everything was set up so thoughtfully, and the hot tub was clean, hot, and relaxing. Our kids had so much fun having BBQs and enjoyed so many new experiences. The supermarket is only a 10-minute drive away, which was very convenient. We are very thankful to our lovely hosts for creating such a unique and unforgettable place. We will definitely be visiting again!

A magical place for adults and children alike!

Pros: We have just returned from the most amazing weekend at river view glamping. It is a truly special place and we made some of the most incredible wholesome family memories!! Pete and Ellie could not have done more to make our stay a success! We arrived very late into the evening but Pete showed us around the site and helped whilst we carried our sleeping children into our tent. Our 4 and 2 yr olds loved feeding the chickens and sheep each morning. They picked apples and pears from the orchard and played in the river for hours! We loved chilling our beers in the river and even managed to make jelly and angel delight set in the river! We cannot wait to rebook again for next year!

Cons: As the site is off the grid it would be good to have more natural light in the kitchen so we don't have to turn the generator on and running water in the kitchen to wash hands and dishes would be superb too!

Pros: Amazing place, the owners were super friendly and helpful would definitely recommend.

Cons: The toilets weren't the best

Pros: Pete and the family are absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Such a beautiful setting, and all amenities really thought through. The kids loved being able to feed the chickens and sheep and collecting fresh eggs for breakfast. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning, the kids will make sure of that. Pros: I take my family for 2 nights. For me and my family best nights we have and service is great. Give 10/10.

Pros: Extremely friendly and helpful host. Very welcoming. Lovely and cosy glamping arrangements.

Third repeat visit says it all!

Pros: This was our third visit. Our daughters love the freedom to play, and have great fun playing in the river. Pete goes above and beyond for his guests.

Cons: The toilets are not palatial, but pretty good for off grid camping.

Perfect place

Pros: Lovely, picturesque place. Pete (owner) was very welcoming and friendly- nothing was too much trouble. Woodfired hot tub was gorgeous, as was a dip in the steam! Shower lovely and warm. Beds very comfy. It's basic camping with some luxury and we lived it!

Cons: As discussed with Pete, could do with a shower changing area.
