Pros: We loved the nordic style firepit area and rustic vibe the meerkats and ostriches were a lovely nice bonus as well. We had a 7month old baby with us and had more than enough room for him to crawl around and keep him occupied. Really nice place all round we would definitely visit again.

A really lovely break in the countryside

Pros: The animals are amazing and the little shepherds hut was just the most wonderful touch

Cons: A spider!

Great owner, fun animals, check what food to bring for animals to feed them.

Pros: Being by the animals was great, the dog was fascinated by them. The owner went out of their way to help ....didnt need to but nothing was too much trouble for her, exceptional hosting.

Cons: Shower is a bit small but not a huge hardship, would be nice with a log burner and tv in but again not a huge deal breaker....its a great place to get away from technology.

A place to relax

Pros: What an amazing little place. We booked this last minute and the host was amazing at communicating and giving us some guidance before we even arrived. This was really welcoming! The hot tub was great and the bbq pit too. Best night sleep we both commented on how comfy the bed was! The most impressive part is the animals which are just so relaxing to just watch and pass the time. Thank you for a wonderful stay, I’m already looking at rebooking to come back with the kids!

Cons: Nothing was a perfect last minute escape

Pros: Simplistic, rustic, peaceful and cosy! i would definitely recommend to a friend! Ower was very welcoming and helpful too!

Cons: How long it took for the hot tub to heat up, we should of just paid for it to be heated up but that's my owe fault really so I would recommend paying the extra money to have it heated up.

Amazing anniversary stay! Made extra special by the extras hubby managed to organise with the host

Pros: The place is amazing!! We had the best wedding anniversary stay! The animals were definitely a highlight! We love the little lodge with indoor bbq too!! Will definitely be returning ❤️

Cons: Not more service on phone wouldn’t usually bother us but we had kids to check up on at home

Pros: Animals close by, able to watch without moving from the decking

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay! Location was perfect for us, Peace and tranquillity were just what we were looking for, and that's what we got 😁 we loved the variety of animals. We didn't see a sole all the time we were there, which we liked.

Cons: Very poor signal and no WiFi. It was great to have a break and be off grid, but when you have children, it's a must.
