Wye Valley Cabin

Loved our stay, enjoyed the property, host was very friendly and Hay on Wye is a must to visit.

Pros: Well kitted out, good layout, comfortable bed with sufficient clothes storage, surprisingly spacious shower and a nice hot tub with good views. There’s also a good decking area to capture the views with garden furniture and a fire pit available although we didn’t use the outdoor furniture because of the time of year.

Cons: Nothing.

Fabulous break in a beautiful setting

Pros: This is a perfect location for a romantic weekend……it stands completely alone with a fantastic view across the valley and has a hot tub! Comfortable bed and a cosy log burner means the cabin stays warm all night.

peace and quiet in a breath taking location

Pros: the views are absolutely amazing especially from the hot tub relaxing. the location couldn’t be better for peace and quiet. the log burn and fire outside are a lovey touch keeping me and my fiancé nice and warm. i would 100% reccomend.

Cons: absolutely nothing 10/10

Can’t wait to come back!!

Pros: Honestly it was perfect!! Had everything we could have wanted for a relaxing weekend getaway. The bed was so comfortable I slept for nearly 10 hours, which never happens! Great outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful views morning and evening. The hot tub with those views was incredible. Kitchen has everything you need, we ate at the cabin both evenings as we wanted to enjoy it as much as possible! Board games were a cute addition and the robes/slippers were a lovely touch too. Also Gary was super helpful!

Peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings.

Pros: As the expression goes.. Location, Location, Location. It was superb. the view was stunning. Not a single thing in site, no roads, no cars or people. Just a fantastic view. Even better you can soak it in from the Hot Tub. The cabin was well equppied and comfortable and given its location it's impossible not to have a sound and undisturbed sleep. I wanted a couple of days of peace to get away from... people.. and i certainly got that. Definitely recommended.

Simply wonderful

Pros: This place really is fantastic. Gary the host is so friendly and responsive to anything we needed to ask him. The cabin itself has everything we needed for an escape away from life for a weekend. Its very well equipped, spotelessly clean and super comfy bed. The views are stunning, the hot tub hot and ready for our arrival and we simply cannot wait to come back. This is a hidden gem and we had the most wonderful time. Thank you 😊

Fantastic host, beautiful location and peaceful stay.

Pros: The cabin had good amenities, having everything we needed for a few nights away. The cabin was clean and had a good sized shower with almost instant hot water. It felt very private and secluded with brilliant views from all directions. It was easy to get to the cabin and Gary provided some very helpful instructions on which road was the best to use to access the cabin. Gary provided a helpful information sheet with suggested places to eat and the nearest shops. Gary went above and beyond leaving a lovely bottle of fizz for us to enjoy to celebrate our honeymoon, it was a lovely touch. We had a really enjoyable stay and will definitely be back!

Pros: Stunning location with amazing views. If you want privacy, peace and quiet and no contact with anyone this is the perfect location. The cabin has everything you need and the view from the hot tub takes your breath away.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Brilliant, absolutely would love to visit again, well worth the price and the hosts were great!

Pros: Location, privacy, the views, cleanliness, hosts provided everything we needed for the stay - even gave us a lovely introduction and plenty of info for things to do in the area

Pros: The views from the cabin were stunning. Gary the host was very friendly and welcoming, on arrival he popped down to give us some information about the local area for food/drinks etc. The cabin itself is Incredibly well finished and has everything you need for a quiet and peaceful stay, there was virtually no noise from anything apart from wildlife and the local farm animals. A great escape from what is now the norm of hustle and bustel of day to day life.

Cons: Nothing at all, I cannot see how anyone would find anything to dislike.
