The Drovers Bed and Breakfast

Central location, well catered for and loads of character.

Pros: The hosts were most accommodating and the property had enormous charm and character. Our room was serviced each day and the bathroom had a large shower and bath with lovely hot water after a day exploring the area. Breakfast was excellent, using locally sourced sausages and eggs etc. The property is right in the heart of town with pubs all around, I would particularly recommend the Whitehall pub across the road for your evening meals and if not there's a chippy opposite there.

Cons: Our room had a couple of high-up cobwebs, but it rather added to the character I thought and didn't bother us at all. Parking might be a bit of an issue due to the location, though we were lucky enough to be able to use the rear of the property. We really enjoyed our stay though.

Would recommend it to anyone who appreciates great food, in a lovely house with immense character.

Pros: Hosts, character of the property, exceptional food and having breakfast at a lovely dining table. The beds were extremely comfortable. Excellent value for money.

Cons: Nothing really, the overall experience was excellent and so nice to stay in a place that wasn’t a chain hotel, with self service food.

Great location and delicious breakfasts

Pros: The excellent breakfasts and the friendly and very helpful hosts, who accommodated my dietary needs and my bicycle.

Cons: Lack of any space for storing clothes, other than hooks. Perhaps there's room for a little unit with open shelves.

Pros: Approx 10mins walk from Llandovery train station. Situated right in centre of Llandovery on Market Square. 5-20 mins walk from some great locations for birding. Breakfasts were cooked to order. Each of the three I had were outstanding. Hot water and shower with power. Complementary water, coffee/tea, tissues. Very helpful hosts.

Cons: Nothing could have been better for me.

Pros: It felt like home with the most amazing breakfast! When we arrived the couple let us pick our room, and treated us like long-time friends.
