Five Saints Farmhouse B&B

Pros: I had a very pleasant stay at this family-run B&B with a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The room was spacious, cozy, and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was clean and equipped with everything you need. The host was kind and attentive – I truly felt welcome here. The homemade breakfast was a great start to the day. The drive to the accommodation at night was quite an adventure, ideally suited for an SUV or any rental car :) Overall, I recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place, personal approach, and a countryside charm.

A little oasis of peace

Pros: Had an absolutely lovely time! Yes, the road leading up to the Farmhouse was a little daunting, especially the first time. Very much doable, just a case of taking it slow and steady. We had the kids with us, and by the end of the stay, they didn't want to leave. Great location, peaceful and scenic, nothing around to disturb the serenity, just the gentle sounds of the farm animals. You could hear the silence at times. Room and facilities were good, a nice and solid breakfast prepared every day. We strolled around the immediate area a few times, wonderful countryside. And the hosts, Nikki and Oz, were terrific. Considerate throughout. Really enjoyed our conversations, sharing stories, and putting the world to rights. A real gem of a place. We would happily stay there again in future.

Wished I could have stayed longer and looking for an excuse to try and come back!

Pros: The location was an adventure in itself but well worth the effort. A huge surprise with the added bonus of a fish filleting tutorial from Oz. Breakfast was lovely with a perfect poached egg. Certainly a room with a view.

Cons: Difficult to say after only one night.

If you are looking for peace, quiet and nature, this is the perfect place.

Pros: Beautiful cottage in mountain with stylish decor. The owner is very nice, the food is delicious.

Cons: Access is via a narrow paved road, but I drove a five-seater Opel (minivan) and managed without issue. The house can also be reached via a wide, gentler gravel road.

Perfect rural Welsh retreat

Pros: Location is remote but that gave this hidden gem an absolutely gorgeous 360 degree view of the valley. Country home with all the extras you would expect from a well run B&B. The shower was amazing, breakfast was delicious, owner was fab to chat to and plenty gorgeous farm animals dotted about the property. Would love to visit again!

Cons: The road up to the farmhouse was a little challenging. Especially on a motorbike. But well worth it.

Pros: Our breakfast was brilliant as was everything else about our stay. We were just sad were were only there for one night. We will be back for longer very soon.

Pros: What a lovely holiday we have had in llanwarda, the farmhouse is so beautiful with lovely views all around. The children loved watching the hens and cockerels, and the horses. Scenic walking trails around. The tastiest breakfast yum yum. Wish we could stay for longer which we will do next time. The house had all the facilities in it. Thank you Nikki, Oz & Tom for giving us a memorable holiday in Wales !
